What Students Say

Likes

Bipin Chandra library with books and wifi will be useful
Zerox shops are inside the campus easy to take zerox inside
Some faculty will be good in teaching as well as supporting the students

Dislikes

From gate to classroom,it almost 1 km way which is difficult for most of students in various situations.
Lab facilities are not good and they are not maintained properly
Exams are conducting means the faculties try to finish portions just for marks and not for Knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like airplanes and I was very eager to study the airplane And its mechanisms. The faculty has only three members and the students are also fewer but this course has great demand in the future. Some faculty are good and some are not. The teaching method also like at the last of the sem would cover the portions only for marks not for knowledge. The exams are not timely conducted they will conduct two internals and one end sem theory with practical.

Class Size: 17Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost is too high here. Normally for aeronautical the cost is high only. Nsp scholarship is there but It also provides only 10000 for 1 year of course. Scholarships will be varied for various students based on their community.

Campus Life

They will conduct a fest once a month. Available books here because Bipin Chandra library with ac is well-infrastructured with books. Lab facilities are somewhat good but not like other aeronautical colleges. More extracurricular activities and sports have been conducted. More clubs are also there.

Admission

Eligibility is 12th pass. Application forms will be available online and offline and the application fee is 500. No reservations benefits. No entrance exam. No concession also for the ex-service man child. 12th pass in PCM subjects.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

I choose this college because compare to other colleges I applied, here the curriculum and faculty felt more relavent for my future goals. I also applied in 2 other colleges but either cutoff was too high or I miss in interview stage, so couldn’t get seat. Admission process here was simple, they accept main entrance exam score and merit list, eligibility was 12th pass with required 80% in PCM. Cutoff was decent compare to top colleges, so I got chance. The overall process was smooth, not so much confusing like other places. I felt this college give better balance of academics, placement and fees, so I selected here finally....Read More
