Course Curriculum Overview

The course are very interesting and already you have completed science course in schooling. So it is easy to understand this subjects thoroughly. I did chose this course because I'm very interesting this concepts. Faculty members are very soft and calm. Easyly understanding concepts while faculty members teaching them.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are available and some companies offering this college to placed a students. TVS Accenture Wipro and some other companies give offers for students to attend interviews and got placed

Placement Experience

Placements are available in our university. In our 5th semester management have trained and 6th semester we are eligible to campus interviews. The placement offers are better . And the placement campus package are upto 4 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

This course fees structure are comfortable to us. Because the college management helps to manage our college fees with the help of financial scholarship. Some scholarships available for first graduate students and single parents, school toppers.

Campus Life

The college campus was so good. It's very calm place and study to relax. The college Library are too large. And so many books are available. Not only courses related books , if you have study any government exams it has also many books in library.

Hostel Facilities

SRM University have college hostel facilities available for both men and women. Separate hostel for both men and women. College hotel is good to compare any other hostel outside. And hostel fees also better

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course, you have completed 12th standard with 60 % marks . SRM University also have offical website to apply admission and it is online application form. You fill the application form and application fees is 250 only. After completing your schooling and came results. After that you will apply. Application dates are after the results came , after one month of your schooling results.

The pros and cons of avinuty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse,iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition,but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation,food making,food safety rules,food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals,practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.

Actually the college provides placement for the students and especially to the lower background students at the max. The college collaoborate with the govt. dept. to create placement drives in the college. The salary is not that much attractive still its okay only.

Placement Experience:

The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
