I was always interested in Computer science and coding so I pursued computer science to further polish my coding skills and do wonders in it. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:70 Almost every faculty are highly qualified but some do their work lazily and don't teach in class. Term exams are held around every 1.5 months in a normal semester.

4th Year students sit for placements. Companies TCS, Infosys, Symbiosis, etc. The highest package went 1.3crs to a student from the mechanical branch 80%-90% of students get placed I am planning to get a job after completing the degree by sitting for the placements and after a year or two I will join the MBA course.

There is no fee hike in tuition fees but a hike of 25% yearly in hostel fees. I did not seek any scholarship, financial assistance or job with a stipend as of now from the campus. Just that there are 5 categories in the fee structure and I was placed in the 2nd category in CSE according to my rank in the entrance exam (3680) and I am having to pay 304000 as my tuition fees.

Annual fest - March - Riviera Technical Fest - October - Gravitas Almost all the books are available in the library and there is an online portal as well where you can look for where and on which shelf is the particular book located and whether the book is currently available in the library or not.

Ac, fans and lights are turned on as per our wish as we are provided with our private switches in every room We need to go and fill our room in a register on the ground floor to get our room cleaned whenever we find it necessary. Meal quality depends from hostel to hostel the hostel which I am currently in has good food quality but my previous hostel had an okayish food quality. Hostel allotment is done online and students are allotted hostels on a first come first serve basis hence due to a lot of traffic the site becomes too much laggy. Never rented a room so don't know about it.

Everyone is eligible for the course if they have more than 60% in science subjects in the 12th board exams We can find all the details on the VIT website. The category system should be removed and everybody should be paying an equal amount of fees.
