USICT, GGSIPU Delhi Honest Review !! Delhi government College at low JEE Mains percentile

Course curriculum has been updated for the 2021 onwards batches, now it is perfect according to the needs of the industry. Faculty members are best in their fields. If you learn by connecting the things then it is gonna fun to study. I choose Information Technology because I love doing computer stuffs and want to be a software development Engineer. We have 2 exams in every semester one is minor and one is major and you can easily pass the exams if you start 15 days before minors and 1 month before majors.

The USICT placement cell maintains placement reports every year. As of placement reports of 2022, over 120 internships were offered to the students of our college. Many Good companies visited our campus for providing the internship opportunities like RORO, AMAZON, TRAVCLAN, TRADEMO, CHAAYOS, ADOBE, CVENT, NAGARRO, TATA1MG, MOBIKWIK, CARDEKHO etc.

The institute has an active training and placement cell that provides assistance to final-year students. The USICT Delhi placement cell also offers placement training to the students before the pre-placement drive. Top recruiters such as Adobe, Amazon, Paytm, Flipkart, Tata, phonepe, Samsung, Yamaha, TCS, indiacart and Airtel etc. come to the campus for giving placements. however, in the year 2022, the highest package that was offered to students of our college was 45 Lakhs and the Average salary package offered was 12 Lakhs.

Fees have changed for 2021 onwards batches but if I tell my scenario then It costs me 73000 Rs per year to me and for a hostel, it is 58000 Rs per year. yes, we have some scholarship schemes as well. One is MCM(merit cum based means Scholarship), Which is given by the Delhi government for higher education you can read it from their website and one is the EWS scholarship which is given by the DSW Department of the University. you can avail a maximum of 58k in MCM scholarships and 46k in EWS scholarships per year.

Infrasturcture is good. we have many clubs you will definitely get a lot of exposure. We have a good library. The annual fest which is conducted is Anugoonj and one major tech-fest is Infoxpression. We have all the necessary amenities in the classrooms. if you are a sports person then you will love it because many sports-related things always happen on campus. if you get the hostel then we have a hostel tournament named HPL(Hostel Premier League) in which all games are played. every year for sports enthusiasts sports meet for the whole university is conducted in which all students of affiliated colleges do participate and nearly 120+ colleges are affiliated with GGSIPU University.

The College has two hotels, nearly two for boys and two for boys. The boys' Hostel's names are Aravali and Shivlaik. For girls, the names are Nilgiri and Satpura. Every Hostel has more than 180 single-seater rooms. Each room is furnished with essential furniture like a bunk, sleeping cushion, pad, seat, table, pantry, tube light and a fan. A gymnasium, an understanding room and sports offices are likewise accessible for the occupants. There is an arrangement for nonstop water supply and power offices for the hostel. Ragging, actual brutality, negative segregation and utilization of alcoholic or opiate substances are completely restricted in the hostels.

To take admission in All IPU affiliated colleges, you have to clear the JEE mains examination. As my college is USICT located in the main campus of GGSIPU, Delhi. So I can tell you about my college perfectly. for taking admission in this college the safe score for Delhi candidates is 90%ile+ (Because 85% seats are reserved for the Delhi Candidates), I am talking of CS/IT Branch and if you are a student of outside Delhi then for you the safe score to get admission in USICT,GGSIPU will be 96%ile+ And if you are from any category then it will be little less as per the reservation of different categories. It's a Government College.
