Course Curriculum Overview
English has always been my passion language which I realised a bit late. I am glad that I chose to do honours in English Literature. the faculty of the college was great, got to learn so many things from them. Though the curriculum is exhaustive and requires quite hard work to complete it. The professors were highly qualified and all of them have cracked NET.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't avail of any scholarship and there was no fee hike. I opted for journalism as my pass subject so I needed to pay an extra 4000 for using the lab. the cost to study is quite affordable and if you don't opt for journalism you don't need to pay anything extra. It's quite cheap compared to other courses.
Campus Life
I personally didn't like the vibe of the college, though our department was great. I once participated in a poem recitation in our annual programme. the library of the college is quite big with a vast variety of books on the shelf. There is one social group run by the student body.
Admission
The admission process was based on cut-off marks. The minimum cut-off mark was 80%. Eligibility of the course was: 50% all over in class 12 and 90% in English subject. I got a 95 in English. I think if they conduct a short assessment test or writing test then the admission procedure would have been more accurate. One can find the application form on the college website when they release the form. They can also get all the admission details and course fees on the website itself.
