Remarks

The college is not perfect(Nothing is perfect) but it is still a very good place to learn, explore and enjoy your college life.

Entrance Preview

I had given the IPU admission exam i.e. IPUCET. I scored a rank 2293. And the marks are not revealed. This is the best college in my rank category that's why I opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good. In 1st year it is general for all the batches then after the first year specialization starts in the course chosen. There are various subjects in which almost all the subjects there is also lab facilities that is practical knowledge as well.

Internships Opportunities

I am a 2nd year student so I have not done a internship yet but the college provides opportunities for the internships . As I have not done any internship I have no idea about the stipends and all.

Placement Experience

4

The college claims to have a 100% placement record which is almost true as well. There are various big companies which visits the campus and offer placements. There are various opportunities for a student for jobs and placements. Some of the companies who visits the campus are: TCS,WIPRO, Infosys, etc.

College Events

3.5

We have various societies which conducts their annual aur semester fests. There are all kind of fests which includes tech fests management fests, etc. Apart from society fests the college organize an annual fest and there is a 3 day university fest as well which is quite huge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is almost as of all the other engineering colleges . The annual fees is about 120000. Which is in my thought neither feasible nor expensive. It's in between. Apart from fees there is no extra money taken by the college for other activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college doesn't offer any kind of scholarship but there is loan facility available. The student can take a student loan in which the college can help.

Campus Life

4

The campus is not very huge but it's still pretty good. Being an engineering college the gender ratio is also poor. There is lot of diversity in college for sure. We have a large playground and yearly competition is also held for sports events. There are various societies which help in extracurricular like robotics, coding etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am not a hosteller plus there is only girls hostel but from my friends point of view I can tell the hostel facilities are quiet good. The food is OK The security is very good. The crowd is also good. There are no such things like fights, etc. Everything is pretty chilled out.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't about the alumni network although I think reunions take place in our college. Seniors are pretty helpful which helps you in all the ways possible be it academics or extracurricular.

Exam Structure

There are regular tests taken but being a engineering student,we guys know how to chill out Talking about the exams apart from various class tests, there is a sessional exam and then the practicals and a final exam per semester which accounts to be about 5-6 tests per semester per subject i.e. 50 exams per semester which I suppose are huge but still college life is pretty chilled out.

Admission

There were various rounds of counselling. Notification is released in the last month of june. After that online process for admission take place. You need to fill the choices and then according to your rank you are offered the course and the college. If you want to participate in the next rounds of counselling then you must take admission in the college offered to you.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is pretty good. You will find the teachers are expert in their field of study. The teachers are helpful, cooperative and let's you enjoy the college life as well. There are well qualified teachers who helps the student in any query and problem and help you solve the problem

After your 2nd year in btech, you are eligible for internship placement and after 3rd year your are eligible to sit in job placement. 2. There are many good companies that come to nsut, like zomato, meesho, Microsoft, google, azure, adobe, and list is really long. 3. The highest package this year was around 50LPA. The profiles are based on tech - software engineer, non tech - data analysis, core - electrical or mechanical or civil or chemical engineers in core companies like BSES, google silicon etc.

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree

College management needs to work upon just the placement cell and needs to invent new methods to keep uninterested students glued and up for studies.
