Best Engineering College in Haryana

I took Haryana State Engineering Entrance Exam and as per my Rank 200 this was the Best College Available at the time of Counselling to me. I was already aware of its placement record, excellent Campus and Faculty so I choose for this College.

It was the Standard curriculum as per Kurukshetra University guidelines. 8 Semesters system/ 4 Year Degree Course. My Branch was Electronics and Communication Engineering. The First Year was common for all Branches and 2nd Year onwards the Subjects were Streamwise.

No, unfortunately the College does not offer Internship and the 6 weeks. Training has to be self sponsored. So one has to look for the Training Institutes themselves as per the Technology area of their interest.

Many Companies came to the College which include the below. Tata Consultancy Services - 25 Students placed package offered 3 LPA Wipro - 30 students placed, package oferred 1.8 LPA, A part from the Campus, the College also participated in Joint Campus Recruitment with other colleges.

The College was good at organizing all such events like Cultural Fests, Technical Fests, as the College campus was big so the events were also high end. All such Fests used to get maximum participation from all Students as we were always excited about such events.

At my time the Fee structure was around Rs 50000 per annum only for the College (excluding hostel or Mess charges) but now i believe its around Rs 1 Lac per annum which is almost same for other Private colleges in the region.

I did not avail any Loan Facility for myself, but being a renowed College i dont think Loan facility availing will not be a challenge. One of my friends infact availed Loan from Oriental Bank which also had a Branch in the College itself.

The Campus life was fun. College time is the golden period in any students life. So it was great learning and fun at the same time. The Campus was one of the best in the region so no complaints. It had the best in class Labs and equipments for practicals etc. Apart from that The College used to conduct many extracurricular activities like Technical Fests and Cultural fests, Sports tournaments. Technical Exhibitions both inter and intra colleges.

Hostel Facility though were a bit on the costly side but the College Hostel was good along with the Mess facility. They even have AC hostels for people who are interested for it. Although I was a day scholar and did not avail Hostel and Mess Facility but

There is no Network as such for the Alumni or senior Students apart from the Social Networking Sites. I think this is one area in which the College can probably take some initiate and organize some events to have the Alumni associated with the College and help new Students with their experience.

It was neither chilled out not hectic. There used to be 1 Main Semester Exams at the end of every semester and 3 Internal Sessional Exams covering 30% of each Course.

Faculty was really good and helpful. My Favorite was Dr. Khanna Sir who were the HOD of our Department and such a motivator. Mr. Singla, Mr. Parihar were few others that i liked the Most.
