Course Curriculum Overview
Well the course I choose was because I have interest in computers and maths subject The curriculum prepares us well as we have classes to learn how to attend placement interviews and helps to get good placement. The course could me effectively Good if some subjects are teached on smart boards or computers. The exam frequency was very fast and we had less time to prepare for exams.
Internships Opportunities
Companis like TCS,Infosys, Deloitte,IBM, MICROSOFT ,etc. Internships are available in roles such as Python developer, Java developer, full stack developer, data analyst, HR, and data science engineer. Stipends vary by role and department, with examples like Rs. 15,000 per month for some medical interns and other roles reflective of industry standards. Teachers also help us to find internships in any company .
Placement Experience
In the 7th semester students are eligible for the placement . As per the records it not mentioned any where for the companies who didn't give any offer . Highest package for the collage was 42Lpa and lowest is 3 Lpa . The percentage of placements is around 90%. After getting the degree I will try to get placed through the collage either from outside .
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 6300 per semester including 30% scholarship on 12th class percentage. There is a discount for lower caste. There is a form signed given by the collage saying if anything happens to you inside collage premises it's our responsibility
Campus Life
There are various events in the collage but they for specific faculties. The events for all is held near September called universumm where there is a 4day event containing various functions and on 3rd day there is a concert of any famous artist on students request. There is less use of technology in the classroom but we have labs to acces them. There is a specific sports complex for sports and grounds for cricket,football,hockey. There are many social groups and they are very fun to join
Admission
I applied for DU but the course I wanted was not available for me . I choose this collage because it was close to my house and it's reviews were also nice. I applied for VIT but I didn't went there because of high fees. The admission process is simple you have to fill a form and book your seat then you have to go and Pay the fees in the collage. If you have 60% in class 12 with PCM/B subjects you can apply for btech course.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is decent. The best faculties are btech and medical faculties as we have more resources. Worst faculty is law as there are the least facilities for them . There are 2 sessional exams and one midterm exam every semester . The difficulty level is good.
Night Life
There are many cafe's gym and restaurant around the collage and it has its own library for the student to study in peace. Hostel are different for girls and boys . For boys it is 10pm and for girls it is 8pm. There are many places to hangout around the collage and it is safe at night around the collage.
