BITS is a paradise for college life, Not only will yo get god quality of academics over here but also the surroundings and the atmosphere of campus is t die for.

BITSAT 2015 , 301 marks I chose this college as it was offering a very attractive Msc Honors chemistry course and one can take a btech dual degree in BITS along with the Msc degree. BITS is one of the prime institutes in india where admission in solely merit based, there are no reservations and so the campus atmosphere is very rich.

The course is well planned and executed. It offers in depth knowledge of various sub fields of Chemistry that is mainly organic chemistry , physical chemistry , quantum chemistry and inorganic chemistry. Students are encouraged to learn outside academics by enforcing a mandatory rule of completing 4 disciplinary electives and 3 humanity electives.

No, the internship is not provided for science streams but is provided for Engineering students. Students are supposed to clear the written round first and then technical and HR interviews. The stipend varies a lot with the type of companies that visit. It ranges from 30K to 1.5L per month for a 2 month internship.

A very unique feature of BITS are it;s Practice Schools, these are mandatory internships where the students many times get pre placement offers too from companies. The placement scenario for CS is nearly 100% placements and for EEE , geerally 80% of the applied students.

Our cultural fest WAVES is one of the largest fests in INDIA. Artists like salim sulaeman , ankit twari have performed here in the last two years. we have a sports fest called SPREE, technical fest named quark , start up (managment) fest coalescence, and many inter hostel events that keep on happening around the year.

Since, It is a private college the fess is a liitle high but nowadays even the IITS operate at nearly same fees. The current fees in 1,7 Lakhs per semester with upto 15% increase in tuition fees every year. Hostel and mess fees are not high and are deducted in the overall fees.

Yes, both scholarship and loan facilities are available in the college. The MCN i.e merit cum need and merit scholarship are for those who score decently in exams and maintain a decent CGPA.

Gender ratio at an average is very skewed, it tuens out to be approximately 13:1 boys : girls ratio. There are tons of clubs , departments and activities to do on campus, Anything you are interested in , there will be a club for that like: music club , dance club. Arts and deco etc.

Every hostel has around 180 rooms, a common room which has: a television set, a carom board and a table tennis table for entertainment. The hostels are maintained every day for cleanliness. The rooms are single for boys and most of the girls and are big enough for one person . The mess food is at par with many mess food in other premier institutes and is mostly healthy and tasty.

BITS alumni are the best alumni in the country. they have a vast range of employment and so a very strong and helpful network is created.Every year , is BITS alumni summit is organized to honor these people and motivate students,

Exams can be sometimes hectic as around 7 courses are to be tested within five to sex days during mid semester exams but end semester exams are pretty much scattered and give enough time for preparation. The labs are very integral to the learning process. It takes a lot of time but it is necessary for practical information.

BITS mentions everything in it's brochure. The forms are available online and everything is easily explained step by step. The administration is very helpful and replies to the queries made by students. The administration even holds an introductory meeting every yea between parents and the institute representatives where questions are encouraged.

The faculties of the college are amazing especially in chemistry where tey focus on research as much as academics. Each faculty has numerous papers published and a wide history of work experience. They have taught and delivered lectures in prestigious colleges all across the the globe.
