This college changed my life.

Overall it was a great experience for me in XIME, Bangalore. It changed my life entirely. I was a completely different person at the time of passing out. My advice to the management is 1. They should focus more on placements focusing on increasing the average package. 2. Hostel food should be improved a lot.

I came into XIME, Bangalore through XAT. I opted for this college because I wanted to pursue my career in HR and this is one of the best institute for HR specialisation.

I would rate the course curriculum as "A" class as it is the same curriculum followed in tier 1 colleges like IIMs and XLRI. Our president was the director of IIMB and XLRI, so he made sure that the course curriculum matches the IIM standards. All the courses had both theory and real time case studies with assignments which helped us understand the subject better.

Yes, XIME, Bangalore ensures internship for all the students.We have separate committee that comprises of students and faculties who takes the responsibility of providing internship to everybody. The stipend varies from 10k per month to 30k per month. The highest paid stipend in our batch was 50k per month.

The placements and the job opportunities are good. I would say its not very good or great because in my batch there was no particular placement faculty who was only into placements but the placement faculty were into both teaching and placements. The average package in my batch was 5.75LPA.

We celebrate almost all festivals like Holi, Diwali, Christmas, Ugadi, Dussehra, Independence day, Republic day etc. We also fresher and farewell party. The student committee organises everything which will be approved by the management beyond which the managements extends support in whatever means they can.

The fee structure for our batch was 10.8 lacs including the international tour which is expensive when compared to the average package. But the fee structure increased for our immediate juniors. Year on year the fee is being increased which is little disappointing because the rate at which the fees is increasing is not proportional to the average increase in the package.

Yes we had scholarships given by the college management. We should pay the fees initially, no concession was given during payment of fees but scholarship of 40k to 1 lac was distributed to the deserving students based on their family background during independence day and republic day celebrations

Campus life is awesome at XIME, Bangalore. We are the only college that always ensures equal gender ratio. In my batch we has more than 50% girls and this is being religiously followed yearon year. We have a lot of inter batch and inter section sports conducted in our college like football, cricket etc. We also had debate competition, elocution competitions which was in house, all India level and even international level.

The hostel facilities were good. In the first year we had common washroom for girls and it was attached bathroom for boys. We all felt that it should have been the other way. Also the rooms were 3 sharing and it was spacious enough. In the second we can opt for attached bathrooms but it was limited and given on the basis of first come first serve. Food was pathetic which needs improvement.

We have wonderful alumni network and we celebrate a reunion year on year in Bangalore. All the Alumni of XIME, Bangalore help the students and the management in whatever means they could. For eg : Some alumnus come as visiting faculty and some help in placement by inviting their own organisation to college.

We had trimester pattern same as IIMs. We had close to 6-7 papers per trimester and this was very tough and packed because of which we end up having hectic days. Some days we had back to back classes till 7:00 pm which was hectic and some days closed even before 11 am.

I downloaded the application online from XIME website after which I got a call for Group discussion and Personal Interview which happened in Chennai. I got my results after 30-40 days saying that I am selected and I will have to confirm my acceptance within 3-4 days.

Most of the faculties in XIME, Bangalore are doctorates and our president makes sure that he does not compromise in the quality of the faculties. All faculties had many years of industry experience which helped us learn more based on real time experiences. But some faculties were not upto the standard as there was a time when we had faculty crunch, which eventually got better.
