Interactions with students from different states of India.
The opportunities that the campus provides that help you to grow.
Also there is a great learning experience in overall campus.

Dislikes

Sometimes people with diverse culture doesnt go all together creating groups
The canteen dont provide you with good food .
Also the size of campus are too small for hosting events

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite interesting and the faculty members are good. I chose this course cause I think it creates an overall impact also the student-faculty ratio is quite high and the qualification and the teaching method are innovative. The term exams are quite simple and I hope that I pass.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good and is made by keeping in mind the financial condition of most of the students in DU and the scholarship policy provides ample opportunities to Economically backward students, but I didn't avail of any of the scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus life at DU is very different from that of the other universities, there is an annual fest in our university for our college which are the Crossroads. There is a library on the college campus with a plethora of books and basic amenities are present in the campus. The sports ground is in best of the condition.

Admission

The admission process was quite tiresome and lengthy on the other hand. So I took the CUET for DU the exam was tough and the eligibility depends on different courses, the application form can be found on the DU website and the reservation can be availed through a form prescribed the improvement is that the process length should be cut and made simpler.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Dyal Singh College is definitely a great college!!

Placement Experience:

PWC, Icici Prudential and like wise companies which needed students for finance and accountancy roles offers placements to students. Many new startups too have started coming and this has made placements percentage shoot up in recent past.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

After the graduation the students are Eligible for the placement and internship are provided in the same during graduation or courses. And some of the good companies which visited and made the offers. The average package of the company offered that 1 lakh approx in the placements this opportunity starts in du also now the good student can do this. Getting a 90% Above Mark's . After completing my graduation I will take admission in maters also. And also prepare the government exam's.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible to placements from the fifth semester. some famous companies that come for the placements are deloitte, BCG, McKinsey, pwc, adani, etc etc average package is 9 LPA and highest was 36 LPA of all time

I am getting in srcc was purely my luck. i applied for this college because anywhere you see you will find the name of this college to be the top college in the commerce field and in every other way. i also applied for hansraj, kmc, hindu, etc but i got into my first preference. the admission process in not very complex you give cuet, score more that the cutoff, then make a preference list, and if you get into college you just have to submit the fees online on the du portal which will confirm your admission....Read More
