My two years at bit mesra

There were two reasons for my selecting this course. First is that this field is high paying and there are good placements too. There are more than enough well-qualified faculties for every student. All the faculties have a Ph.D. qualification in their respective field and most of them are experienced in the field of teaching. The exams are all held timely after fixed durations. The semesters are around 4 months long.

Major companies like Sprinkler, Microsoft, Atlassian, and Flipkart come for internships and provide a good stipend. The college looks after your internships and placements through its training and placement division.

Students become eligible for placements in the seventh semester. Many big softech companies visit the campus like Amazon, Microsoft, Walmart, Accenture, and many more. The highest package for my branch went up to 50 lakhs last year. Almost all the students of the circuital branches get placed. Although the placement in non-circuital branches isn't good. After the degree, i plan on getting placed in a good company and working there.

The cost to study is a bit high when compared to other government colleges. The college does provide scholarships to its top students every year ranging from 50% to 100% of the total semester fees. The scholarship goes by the name of the GP Birla Scholarship. There are also banks on the campus that easily provide student loans to students at fair interest rates.

The campus life is quite good here at the bit. The annual cultural fest is named bitotsav and is held around February end of March, and the main tech fest is named Pantheon, held around the end of October. There are plenty of books for each subject for all the subjects. The classrooms are also well equipped with good lighting, AC, and fans. There are good sports and co-curricular facilities available on campus. There is a dedicated sports complex with grounds and courts for various sports and a well-equipped gym too. There are many clubs related to many activities like music, sports, drama, tech, etc.

The admission process was done on the basis of obtained jee mains rank and the admission was done following the josaa guidelines. You can apply for this college through josaa counseling. I don't see any need for improvement in the admission process.
