VIT FOR BETTER FUTURE AND EXPERIENCE

My degree is B.Tech in Information Technology. I have taken this course because it is in the field of computer science. So I am interested in this field rather than other fields. The faculty-student ratio in VIT is 1:20 may be. The qualifications of faculty are mostly Ph.D. only. There are 3 terms of examination in VIT each semester, CAT1, CAT2, and FAT.

The college provides internship opportunities for students from 5 semesters to 7 semesters. The stipend varies from company to company. For every company, there is a minimum requirement such as a 7 CGPA, and with no backlogs.

There is a policy by Vit that every student should get placed in some company with at least one offer in hand. From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements if they have no backlogs. More than 700 companies are visiting VIT, the most famous companies are Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Jp Morgan Chase, Qualcomm, AMD, Intel, etc. The highest package is 1.02 crore this year. The average package is 8 lakh per annum. The percentage of students placed is 90%. My plan after getting placement is to grow in my career.

There are 5 categories in Vit for a B.Tech student. category 1: 2 lakh, category 2: 3lakh, category 3: 4lakh, category 4: 4.45 lakh, category 5: 4.9 lakh. The cost of studying in VIT for B.Tech is very high. There are scholarships for every state rank holder in 12 grade to get free admission to VIT. The salary of the job depends on the student's skills it may vary from 3.6lakh to 1 crore.

Rivera is an annual sports and cultural fest in VIT Vellore, it is a 4-day fest conducted in February. Gravitas is an annual tech fest conducted in Vit Vellore conducted in the month of Sept-Oct. There is a large library in Vit Vellore which has a lot and lots of books. The classrooms are not like the rooms which movies show us, it's like normal school classrooms. VITPL is a premier league conducted by VIT every year for students. There are also many grounds available in VIT like basketball, volleyball, tennis, football, and cricket, indoor games such as Table tennis, and caroms and also there are 3 gyms in VIT. There are over 150 clubs and chapters in VIT Vellore, Which conducts a wide range of fest and events throughout the year.

The hostel fee is different for different blocks and types of Rooms and sizes of rooms. There are 1,2,3,4,6,8, types of beds and AC/NON AC. There are 3 types of mess Veg, Non-Veg, and Special mess. Registration of hostel and mess is done by Vit according to your preferred bed and mess type with your friends.

Our batch is in 2020, so there was no particular examination for our batch. It was based on our JEE and 12 scores they have given admission. But for regular batches the scenario is different they need to write VITEEE the total number of questions is 125 and no negative marking. 40 from mathematics. 35 each from physics and chemistry. The time duration is 2:30 min, and the application fee is 1350 GST excluded. We can write offline in test centers.
