Likes

Beauty of the campus in evening times.
Holidays on weekends. Saturday and Sunday will be holiday
Timings of the class, interaction with seniors etc

Dislikes

Periodic exams. 3 exams for a semester is hectic for 1st years
Extra academic activity class once a week in early mrng is annoying

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical and electronics engineering will play a key role in the coming years. As far as the Electrical vehicles are concerned. 6 regular faculty PhD from iit roorkee, Delhi etc. Electrical and ECE faculty are exceptionally good as compared to others. For 1st year semester, there will be 3. Evaluation is unbiased and situations will be practical

Placement Experience

After the 6th-semester students will be eligible for placements. companies like C-dot, Deloitte, Accenture, virtusa etc. Will visit. The highest package for the batch 2022 was 48Lpa. Nearly 98 per cent of students had got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a Government institution, there will be no fee hikes, if this happens those will be nominal. The students who do belong to Andhra Pradesh will have scholarships from state government of Andhra Pradesh

Campus Life

The annual technical fest is Vulcanzy, It will be conducted Every year in February. Books are arranged in the library branch-wise. Green board with a projector in front and Digital Television will be used for teaching. Intramural sports competitions will be conducted frequently. Singing, Dancing can be practised in the students' amenities centre. Literature and Debate club, photography club, Graphic cafe, eye Yantra club etc are some clubs run by students

Hostel Facilities

A cot for each student and a cupboard with lock. Electrical switch Boards for each bed and light for each bed . Three fans etc. Ventilation will be good. Meal quality remains good .. need to compromise some of the times.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Jee main is the entrance exam, Finding Application forms and those things will be instructed by the college people at the time of admission. Reservation benefit for Obc students reflects in getting admission.

Review of My college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. There are a lot of companies that visit my college including Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Quaxy and many more. Number of offers made are above 500. Highest package in 2024 was 40 lpa and average package was 5 lpa. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed. I'll go with placement after my degree.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements based on thier performance and cgpa or else they must be placed after four semesters in b. Tech. Many companies like Tesla, Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, .. visit the college annually. Average package is of 8lakh per annum and the highest package is 60lpa. 80 percent of the students get placed at the end of the semester. My plans after the degree is to get a good job offering me a minimum 40lpa and after the will establish my own company in the market.

College life at NIT-AP

I liked this college because studying at a national institute is every student's dream. It is not that much easy. Particularly, we can't compare these national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious. The main reason why I have chosen this college, we (Andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college. Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with the best percentile to secure their dream branch. The cut-off will be changed every year.
