Remarks

Management isnt the correct word, mismanagement is right! The lifts are packed like local trains everyday someone or other gets hurt while boarding the lift

Entrance Preview

MH-CET 69 marks I got admission on basis of minority quota and medical records of brain tumour during CET.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Its very hectic, students dont have enough time for other activities, 8-5 college sucks.everyday reach home at 6-6.30 then do assignments till 9 and then have dinner and sleep not enough time for personal enjoyement and then wake up early morning at 6

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesn’t provide intership, but placement are done by many companies such as deloitte, infosys and many more.

Placement Experience

2.5

No the college doesn’t provide intership, but placement are done by many companies such as deloitte, infosys and many more. The companies interview based on merit and thats a good thing. The teachers however dont give great info about the adequacy or appearance or guidance for interview.

College Events

3.5

They are like wars between commitees about their fest its like untouchability of other committee members! One member of a committee cant be friends with member of other committee if caught talking to them they are scolded and tortured and the competitions are biased on basis of looks rather than talent

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive,1.5 lac approx for a single year is very much for the facilities,This year the fee payment start date was 11 sept -15 sept and the notice was put on 12 sept so the time for arrange money for fees was very difficult and timing was very odd we had to bunk lectures

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes surely there are scholarships to students who cant afford fees snd those who have merit. There are exams for students who want scholarships but they are like very hard and many are not able to clear

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio is 2:1 boys are more,Student parties are rare, workshop are ok,rest all is fine but politics is very much between the committees! They are like wars between commitees about their fest its like untouchability of other committee members! One member of a committee cant be friends with member of other committee if caught talking to them they are scolded and tortured and the competitions are biased on basis of looks rather than talent

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There are three canteens, one of national college one of MMK college and one of thadomal college, the thadomal canteen is worse non hygiene the national one is better and cheap overall nice and mmk one is very hygienic but costly but the food is great the only letdown is the time

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful but if you are good friends with them then your life is sorted they guide you at every step

Exam Structure

Yup its very hectic college is from 8am-5pm everyday and somedays even on Saturday. There are periodic tests for internal grading. The viva is fully biased towards teachers pet. The attendance counting is very mismanaged if someone had 74.8% attendance they are not allowed 75 means 75

Admission

It was all online by DTE,CAP facility was nice and it was easy to get done but the fees was pretty much high as compared to other college. The incharge people were helpful, overall experience was good. The timings were very comfortable and the services nearby for xerox and printout were very useful

Faculty

3.5

Some teachers are very helpful but most of them are angry irritated beasts. They give assignments as if we students are their worker. The principal is like virus from three idiots, He shouts at students as if he owns them and most of the time if we need some sign on document he isnt present at office so we have to bunk to wait at his office for him to arrive and he doesnt even talk to students we talk to peon first and then peon takes the sign

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
