Internships at startups

As for choosing the course I was allotted electrical engineering on the basis of my rank. Here the faculty: student ratio is 1:20 Most of the faculty have a PhD from top-ranking colleges across India like IITs. Three types of exams are conducted 1. Class test 2. Sessional 3. Sem end Which are conducted very timely.

There are a lot of internship opportunities. We get internship offers from big companies like Microsoft and local companies as well. There are also internships offered by startups that are started by Institute students and funded by the university.

Campus placements are really good, big companies also recruit from the campus, and the percentage of students being placed is also very high. The highest package reaches up to 40lpa. My plan is to sit for placements and get a job after I complete my degree.

The fee structure for students admitted under all India quota(jee mains) is approx 1 lakh per semester and there are 8 semesters. The all-over cost of studying may add up to 12-13 lakhs for all 4 years. The Institute offers merit cum means scholarships to students. And earn while learn scheme is also there which offers approx. 2000 per month

Annually a culture fest is organised named Anveshan which happens in the month of march Or April. Libraries here are pretty well equipped. And the sports facilities lag a bit but the gym is pretty well equipped. There are clubs like ISTE and Invincible League of Leaders(IL2) that are run by students.

Hostel faculty is available for girls in H4 which has an occupancy of approx 1300 girls with triple sharing A.C. rooms, but for boys hostel facility is only available for boys pursuing MBA. Mess is available for all and non-hostlers can use the mess facility by paying a monthly fee. And there are a lot of pgs and rental rooms available near the campus.

Admission was based on my jee mains score, and to apply I had to fill out a form on nirma university's official website and pay a registration fee. Admissions were also done on the basis of ACPC, And there is also an NRI quota and a Gulf country quota.
