The college is very good in terms of faculties but remains the little bit behind on placement largely due to its location.

I got admission in the college through the jee main exam scoring 62 marks. I took admission because it is one of the best colleges in Odisha having one of the best faculty members.

The course structure is very good, similar to many its. it is very favourable for research. The subjects include the strength of the material, theory of machines, applied thermodynamics, robotics and fms, the design of machine element, manufacturing science, etc.

I have not gone for the internship yet but, our college does provide arrangements for the internship and provide every resource possible.

Many software companies like TCS, Wipro came to the college and offers jobs to nearly 200 students with avg 3 lakh per annum. many other companies also its. Vedanta also recruited nearly 14 students with a salary of 7 lakh per annum. My branch is a new the brach with 1st batch passes out in 2018, so I don't know about the placement of my branch.

Every year various functions are held in the college. The most famous function called HORIZON. It is very well known in all over Odisha. other equipment like fun fest, film fest, welcome, farewell, etc. Various branch fests are also held throughout the year. Many students of all over Odisha participates in the functions.

The fee structure is very less with subsidy given by Odisha government. The college fee is just 33400 for the advanced course . for TFW course the fees is 12000 less. For SSC courses the fees are 77400. The hostel room rent is only 4000. The college is one of the most affordable colleges in India.

No scholarship that I know of is offered by the college but Odisha govt offers many scholarships like Prerana, Medhabruti, etc

The campus life a very entertaining. There is sports competition on cricket, football, badminton, and volleyball. Colleges from all over the state participate in the events. other functions like robotis, MUN, seminars etc are also held In the college.

There are 8 hostels in the college. 5 are for B.Tech boys students, one is for diploma boys students and 2 are for girls students. The hotel food is very good. The hotel has other facilities like playing ground, basketball court, table tennis court, etc.

Are Alumni of our college is always there whenever we need them through social networks. they constantly provide us with the advices.

The exams are very much chilled out with 2 internals and a semester exam with 1month gap between the internals and another 2Month gap for the semester exam. The labs are held each week for 2 and a half hours in highly advanced labs. The labs are consist of highly advanced equipment.

The faculties are highly qualified and experienced. All the professors and associate professors are from its, having in the depth knowledge of the subject. The teachers are always there to help us and clear our doubts. my branch consists of a head of the department, 5 permanent faculties, and 10 contractual facilities.
