Remarks

Overall University is good compared to other colleges, and i would recommend presidency University over other private Universities

Entrance Preview

I scored 100 marks in jee and so some part of my annual fees is waived. I opted for this college because of the faculty, most of the faculties are from bits pilani, Hyderabad and dubai.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The college is providing a platform to build up your knowledge, experience and command in your stream. The course curriculum is good according to our syllabus. The course is set accordingly so that i would help when we do research or project in our respective field. So at that time we'll have proper knowledge of the basic and how to start

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there will be internship, after 2nd year for two months and in 4th year for 7 and half month. The 2 month intership help in the exposure to industries and later for the good placement with experience.

Placement Experience

4

As the University is new, and we are the first batch in engineering department, there is no placement record but there would be a good opportunity in future as all senior students of mba department placed in best companies with a nice starting salary

College Events

4

There are many event which are celebrated like sports meet, robotics workshop, annual day, ethinic day, cultural day, Talent day etc. All the events are organized and celebrated nicely. Student take part in these event and show their talent and this also help them in their extra curricular activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

This should be your most preferred college if you are not too fascinated about JEE-Mains and other private colleges. This provides admission through CET and COMED-K. The management quata is too high. But the amount for that is too high. You will enjoy your college life for sure. For management fees for computer science is 120000 per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Some part of fees (20000) is waived from first year fees if you have good jee marks. Also there are other scholarships and payment facility provided by University like partial payments.

Campus Life

4.5

There is proper care taken for students who think innovatively and makes some new stuff. We can proceed with projects and try some great opportunities as college helps and supports students by funding and guiding throughout the project. Student here are all over from india and overseas.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel accommodation is very good but not the food.. caterer are changed whenever admission process starts so that more students would come to hostel but after 2-3 months, the food quality become worse. So i don't recommend hostel facility if anyone expect good quality food

Alumni/Alumna

As we are the first batch, we don't have any seniors, but student here are nice and helpful, and also they will help you if you are not from the city or don't speak kannada

Exam Structure

In a semester there would be 2 test, 1 quiz, 1 assignment and final comprehensive exam for each subject for the first 2 years and later the pattern changed slightly for 3rd and 4th year. Curriculum is well established and is not at all hectic. You can give time for your extra curricular activities or any exam preparation even after coming from college

Admission

I got to know about the admission after the jee exam. First you need to block seat for 25000 if you are going through management quota, otherwise you can take admission through comedk and cet. Then you can enroll in whichever department you have decided. Then there will be an exam for scholarship and after one month college will start

Faculty

4

So, teachers are well qualified. They will help you a lot in your interests. They provide you support in the in-house projects and overall development. There are many projects and talks will be arranged for our personal development. They also conduct personality development programme for our betterment after 3rd sem. few teachers lack teaching skills but not the knowledge of the subject.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.
