Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BE CSE because of my interest in computers and coding. The course curriculum here is very good and covers most of the important topics and many in-depth concepts. The faculty member and very well-educated and some of them are even phd holders. The exams were held during the semester as well as at the end of it. These exams very well test the knowledge of students and their ability to code.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am in CSE, I only have knowledge about my branch. The internship opportunities provided are great. The stipend ranges from 20k - 60k a month. The companies usually come for a software developer or a full-stack developer role.
Placement Experience
The placements start from the 6th/7th semester. Many big tech companies like Flipkart, amazon, and google bajaj visit the campus. The placement rate is high and students get a good jobs. The offers made the previous year were around 9-11 LPA. The highest package went was nearly 1 crore. The placement rate is about 90% which is very good. I plan to get a job and start studying for my MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fee for my course is 1.6 LPA. I feel that this justified seeing the campus and the quality of teaching provided to students. My internships are starting in a few months and the average package goes around 7-8 LPA.
Campus Life
Life on campus is really happening. Frequent dj nights, club events, impromptu student activities and many such things keep on happening. There are different and big blocks for each department with very nice and pleasant infrastructure. An on-campus gym, and courts for basketball, badminton, volleyball, football, cricket and even skateboarding keep the students engaged. Also, many clubs are run by students for coding, singing, dancing, acting and many more.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels have a 4 seater, a 3 seater and a single seater room facilities. The hostels are good, clean and tidy. The messy food is also good and tasty. Each student gets a separate bed, almirah and a study table and chair. The fees of the hostel are pretty affordable. There are many close PGs and flats near the college for students to stay.
Admission
Since I was in the covid batch, entrance examinations were halted. My placements happened through my 12th percentile. Otherwise, the placements happen through an entrance test conducted by the college itself. The website of the college is pretty self-explanatory and easy to navigate for anyone trying to know about or apply to the college.
Other Applied Colleges
SRM Institute of Science and Technology - [SRMIST] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
I didn't opt for this college because of such a high fees and the cultural differences i would have to face going to south being a north indian.
