- The classroom doesnt have AC facility so in summer it gets difficult to manage.
- The classroom are far away from hostel so we have to reach classes by walking no bicycle are provided.
- The attitude of boys towards the girls in dtu.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of my interest in the electrical (core) domain. Facilities are in good numbers and they are serious about the student's future. All the faculty are well qualified, experienced and PhD holders. Exams are not much tough and for the end-sem, you can study 2 weeks before.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like meta, Microsoft, Google, Google Swigging, texas, and western digital come here for an intern. Twitter and Sprinkler are seen as the highest money-giving companies around 2 to 3 lakhs of money are given by these companies to interns for around 2 months. Projects based on machine learning and Web development are highly recommended
Placement Experience
The placements are very good. The average package range is around 12 lakhs. You can be eligible for placement in 7 semesters. Some of the companies that visited the campus are GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, TEXAS INSTRUMENT, APPLE, AMAZON, LUMINOUS, WESTERN DIGITAL, NVIDIA and more and approx 400 offers are made in the year 2023. Almost 90 per cent of students get placed during college placement. I prefer to go for higher education abroad after I get my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Total annual fees are normal as other colleges but it is a little more here. But the placement scenario is also good as compared to other colleges. College releases its scholarship and the government of Delhi releases the mcm scholarship. The placements are good here.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Engifest and it happens in the month of February then there is Yuvaan which happens in the same month. DTU has a very big library almost 2 floors are assigned for btech students with good facilities of WiFi and AC. The sports facility is also good we have separate grounds for every sport. Extracurricular activities take place frequently in the college. There are many social groups, clubs or websites for the students like DCODER(coding student), Rotaract, yuvaan, engi and more
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in the hostel are good. Generally, we put the complaint and the very next day the problem gets resolved. The meal and menu are good recently it well updated they generally charge 3480 rupees in which you can have breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. The registration process for a hostel is easy you can get the form on the hostel website but generally Delhi candidate doesn't get hostel facility.
Admission
The admission process is easy here. Admission is done through jee mains. It is btech 4-year course. The application can be seen on NTA and the application fee is 1300. Sc and St are eligible for this No, admission process is easy
