Nice campus... Campus is so simple and everything is available and are easily accessible
Nice faculties... Every teachers and non teaching staffs are very caring and friendly
College life is excellent.... With full freedom and we feel that it's our place

Dislikes

Due to lack of flourishing grounds we conduct oru sports meet on the stadium next to our clg
College bus are out of service but college is near to ksrtc and pvt bus station
Only two main buildings are available ....

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is actually good as Cs is the most demanded course now... But it's difficult to study as in my experience , it will be some what difficult to be followed by the bio people... Teachers are good and supportive and the exams comes as sem exam and 2 series exam and a lab exam in each sem

Internships are available on our college and if needed we can go to other places for internships on the label of our college...There is a huge platform available for doing projects and startups... Project assistance also available

Placement Experience

Good placements are there.... Many sound companies will arrive for taking placements and hiring student excellencies with a reasonable package for the fresher... There is an average package of about 3-4L per annum is available for our college

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit fee is about thirtyfive thousand and management fee is around sixtyfive thousand... Various scholarships are available.... EGrants Merit cum means etc are also available ... There are no major expenses for our college

Campus Life

Amazing life at campus... There are even national fests like INAARA conducted in our college.... College fest Daksha Yantra is conducted on every even semesters and other fests are also conducted on every special days without fail

Admission

Kerala Entrance Examination.... KEAM should be written and qualified with required mark and rank... For getting seats in various department on our college need different sort of rank.... Cut off for keam to qualify is 20 marks but that is not enough for getting admission in College of Engineering Attingal

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I got admission in this college through Non-KEAM which means they took my plus 2 marks and gave me admission, but the management seats were over and I had to take an NRI seat to get the admission. I did apply for many top colleges in Kerala but couldn't make the cutoff of those colleges This was the college were I first got confirmed admission at and it's really close to where I live...so I just took my admission here duo to that reason I had 20000 rank in the engineering entrance exam and easily got admission here Admission procedure solely depends on entrance rank and the top 60 get admission here even though in my course it's a virtual guarantee to get admission no matter how low your rank is because of the low student strength for the subject whereas it's harder to get seats in computer science because those seats get filled quick...Read More

College of engineering attingal

There is KEAM exam conducted by the kerala govt for entries to technical courses in kerala. The exam mainly focuses on physics, chemistry and mathematics and the paper is out of 600. The difficulty of the paper ranges from easy to difficult. After getting into the rank list there are 3 rounds of counselling that happens. Last year the cut-off were: Merit seats: 27K Management seats: 45K There are some seats reserved for SC, ST, OBC etc. The admission process was delayed very much last time due to which 6 months semester was completed in 3 months, that created great pressure on the students.
