The campus of IMU is spread over a large area and there are trees and greenries all around is.It has the best surroundings and we can breathe fresh air here. There is a great equality for all genders,indeed the sex ratio of Chennai is highest all over india .
Entrance Preview
Through IMU-CET i got admission in IMU and I was able to secure 67% which was enough for me to get an admission in Indian Maritime University. The main reason I opt IMU was their high profile campus recruitment and also their name was top among self financing colleges.
Campus Life
The Marine division conducts pre-sea and post-sea training programmes for merchant navy personnel, working both on deck and engineering side. The programmes range from the entry level Pre-sea Cadets courses to Ship Masters level courses. These comprise of Modular and ISPS courses approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, competency courses, engineering courses and endorsement courses.
Alumni/Alumna
The good remarks has to be the amount and quality of the placement offers and global exposure the college provides. The college is run by a strict management and hence they are really fast and stubborn at making decisions. So to conclude this is a very Beautiful and Academically solid institution.
Faculty
Our faculties are wonderful. In our college each subject is taught very nicely and our faculties of some important subjects like graphics and mechanics are experienced and teaches us beautifully . I just love the way our faculty teach us.Our teacher is highly qualified also,our maths teacher is from IIT MADRAS,and many others are from iits or nits,etc.
