My experience at bpit till now

I wanted to take computer science but I didn't get it so I took information technology as I wanted to get a job in that field only. The student-to-faculty ratio is good as there are dedicated teachers for most of the subjects and assigned mentees for each batch. Exams of my batch were a bit delayed due to the pandemic, and they were easy to pass with some effort a week or two before the exams.

College helps in getting on-campus and off-campus internships through the placement cell. Companies like Accenture, IBM, Amazon, hcl, and Infosys usually visits the campus for internships and placement offers.

The students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, companies like Amazon visited the campus and gave offers to numerous students, the highest package was about 35-40 lacs and the average package was about 6-7 lac. About 92% of students were placed in of-campus and on-campus placements. There is a designated placement cell which helps students to get on-campus and off-campus placements. I plan to get a job after the degree.

The fee structure was about 1,18,800 per year for my batch but from the next batch, there has been a hike in the fees. There are certain schemes and scholarships for the weaker sections of society and economically weaker sections members about which you can learn on ipu website. There are also some scholarships based on academic performance. One can talk with the faculty if they want to submit their fees in instalments.

The annual fest is named malhaar which was previously named " corona " it was obviously changed after the pandemic. It's a good fest with fairly famous celebrities joining ( not as famous as guests in tier 1-2 colleges ). The library consists of mostly course-related books which can be issued with a library card. The college offers a good space for sports and extracurricular activities on campus. Our cricket team recently won the all ipu tournament due to the support of faculty and allowing students to conduct practice matches in the college. The faculty also appreciates students' proposals and efforts in this area. The college has numerous technical and cultural clubs and societies including the categories of music, dance, coding, technological development, drama, chess and more.

I took the admission through ipu counselling which considers your performance in the jee exam. The procedure is a bit tricky to understand at first, but after watching some videos about it on YouTube I understood the choice filling and freezing process. I would recommend not opting for any paid counselling services and rather watching some videos on YouTube to understand the process and do it yourself.
