Fees and Financial Aid

There have not been many changes in fee structure in recent years. There is a robust placement cell providing various opportunities to students in various domains. The average stipend is also increasing year on year.

The college has a robust student body with various avenues providing everyone with opportunities in various groups. Details of these can be found on the internet and their activities people can look at various social media used by these groups.

There is a residential program making it compulsory for students to stay in the hostels. There are various accommodation options available to students according to the student preference at an affordable price.

Admission

The minimum requirement for admission to the program is a three-year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks aggregate from a recognized University. Applicants must take any of the admission tests XAT, CAT, GMAT, or X-GMT. Applicants have to fill up the online application form on the XIM university website.

Interview Experience

The method to prepare that I have used to prepare is to be thorough with what I know. It is also important to keep up with current affairs and read various opinion on these as it will be helpful to get various talking points.

As I am in my 1st year so I don't have much knowledge about the placement but while talking with our senior, they told that If you did little hardwork then you will definitely get a good placement. In my senior batch there are, 180 students and from them 170 students are already placed in many reputed companies and placement activities is still going on.

I had applied to IIM's , XLRI Jamshedpur, IMT Gazhiabad. I had been selected for IMT Gazhiabad dual country program (PGDM-DCP). I had given PI for several IIM's, got selected for IIM Sambalpur and IIM Bodhgaya also but did not go there. And the colleges I could not convert are because of the questions related to my undergraduation. I had answered all the questions related to my work experience that they had asked. Overally I had performed not upto the mark, so did not get selected. Admission process in our college is through CAT, XAT and XGMT exam. Generally cut offs for this college goes around 92 percentile for non domicile and 91 percentile for domicile students. I had scored 95.80 percentile in CAT 2023. A short summary about XIMB

I opt for this college because it's one of the top five best college in east india it's reputed government registrar and trust worthy. the placement and infrastructure is also very good. I didn't apply for many colleges I just applied for St Xavier's College Ranchi I gave the written and interview and was cleared in both the exams but because of its infrastructure and no placement I didn't went there. Admission to XIMB can be secured in 3 ways: CAT, XAT, and XGMT. The exams are held from November to January time frame and the admission forms open from around October goes on till January. The application form can be accessed from the website of the college, or other social media pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram can also redirect you to the link.
