- The crowd I found at XIMB was fairly good, not exactly Odiya crowd only, but people from many other cultures also, like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai. Everyone comes with a different experience in life and have something unique to offer.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very vast and extensive, reaching into all domains like finance, marketing, systems, operations, and strategy. As an MBA student, it trains you in all important aspects of decision-making as a future business leader and gives immense exposure to stories and case studies around the world. The faculties discuss important case studies, which help in understanding the business decisions and the criticalities of the business world. There are discussions in the classrooms that come with a lot of perspectives of many individuals. The faculties are highly educated, and experts in their fields, with very good industry experience and network. The year is divided into three trimesters, each trimester having its final exams with internal quizzes and assignment submissions.
Internships Opportunities
Several companies visit the campus offering internship opportunities that provide good experience and stipend. Companies from various domains like FMCG, technology, fintech, operations, consulting, and many more, visit the campus for hiring.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 22 lakhs exclusive of stay, food, and other amenities. Several banks provide loans for the fee, like SBI, HDFC, etc. The campus provides placements and summer internship opportunities as well, that provide a good return on investment.
Campus Life
Campus life is very busy with classes, events, and all kinds of activities, and competitions. The annual fest is called Xpressions which usually happens between November to January. There are several interest committees, core committees, and functional committees for each domain of management, to keep students busy and network around the college with different people. Several other sports events are organized that include table tennis, Lawn tennis, Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, Pool, and many more. The media and PR cell of XIMB runs the official pages of the college on Instagram where there are updates regarding the other campus activities, admission processes, and all other important details.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are very smooth with all basic amenities. The campus has a mess which provides decent quality food. Other than this, there are several places on campus for eating such as Nescafe, where you can find Maggi, coffee, and other refreshments. There is X-Cafe that provides food of decent quality taste and variety at the same time. There is a bakery, fruit stall, momos stall, and many more, never running out of food.
Admission
Admission to XIMB can be secured in 3 ways: CAT, XAT, and XGMT. The exams are held from November to January time frame and the admission forms open from around October goes on till January. The application form can be accessed from the website of the college, or other social media pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram can also redirect you to the link. The college usually has 50% reservation for Odiya domicile. After the exam, if you qualify for the cut off which is usually around the 85 percentile, you get an admission interview call letter from the college. The interview takes place with a panel of professors from the college.
Interview Experience
After the written exam, there was no GD. Rather, direct interview with a panel of professors from the college itself. The interview process is very smoothly coordinated, and goes on for about 20-25 minutes, based on your profile, previous education, work experience if any, and interests, just to get to know the person, and see if they would be able to survive the MBA rigor and also to check business acumen. Interview preparation can be done through mock interviews with coaching like IMS, TIME, etc, the best that your city provides.
