IIT Bawana(DTU)

I chose EE at DTU due to the exposure and ample opportunities it provides. It is an IIT equivalent college and the DTU tag speaks for itself. Faculty: Student Ratio is brilliant:- We have 5 subjects in our 1 sem and for our 75 size batch..we have 2 teachers for each subject (Theory and tutorials teachers) The faculty is highly qualified. Our Professors have taught in IITs and some of them have also taught at prestigious Foreign universities. We have two exams each semester; Mid seems and End sem. Passing the exam is easy..but in order to score well one needs to grind hard.

Adobe, Srinklr, Google, Microsoft These are some companies that visited the college for interns with stipends of 1-2 lakhs per month Projects were based on skills like DSA and development and obviously hard work

From the 6th semester onwards, students can sit in placements of 400+ companies visiting our campus. To name Top IT giants like Google, Microsoft, and Apple visit the campus and core companies like Mahendra, NXP semiconductor, and Honda visit our campus. There are ample opportunities for students to get placed on campus. The highest package was 1.22 crore per annum as of 2022 stats which was given for the software engineer role..while the average being 15 lpa For the year 2022, 98.2 % of students got placed on campus . After getting the degree, I wish to work as a software engineer in some Top IT giant

Fees structure:- Fees as of 2022 was 2 lakh 19 thousand for the first year which increases by 10 thousand every year Opportunity for the scholarship:- There are many scholarships such as PMS/E District. One can get a maximum of 100% tuition fee return by availing of these above-mentioned scholarships

Engifest is the annual fest. It is usually held in February., Invictus is the annual tech fest which usually held in February Almost all the books and journals are there in the library. The classroom is equipped with projectors and well-maintained desks. Our college supports all extracurricular activities...be it drawing, activity or anything else There are a hell lot of societies like DCODERS, INNOVA, ROBOTICS, MUN etc. These all are run by students themselves

Admission is through jee mains score:-One need to sit for a joint entrance examination and based on the result of which one can choose his/her discipline and may get admitted in this prestigious institute through JAC counselling Application Form: Jee mains releases its application form every year which one needs to fill in order to sit for the examination. Application form fee is around? 1200 which one needs to pay. Since admission takes place through JAC counselling so a one-time? 1000 should also be paid once counselling starts after jee mains result. Reservation Benefits:- OBCs/SCs/STs enjoy the benefits of Reservation and may get top stream such as CS/IT even on a lower rank.
