Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good and aligned with the industry requirements. I chose this course because of its rich history, excellent faculty with loads of industry and research experience, and good placement opportunities.

Internships Opportunities

The Internship opportunities are great with esteemed companies bringing various roles and projects. The college boasts of 100 per cent placement in summer internships. The students will get a lot of internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are great here. Both summer internships and final placement are looked after by the college itself. Esteemed recruiters from all streams visit the campus. The average CTC is 20 lacs, and it will keep on increasing year by year. The institute boasts 100% placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is INR 22 lacs for 2 years plus the hostel fee of INR 42000 per yr. The campus provides lucrative job opportunities and reputed companies visit the campus every year. Overall, this college lives up to its reputation.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. There are numerous campus committees and all coordinate well with each other. There are a plethora of extracurricular activities happening. The institute has a huge library with a lot of resources, both digital as well as physical.

The hostels provide single as well as double accommodation facilities. There are two messes on the campus and also numerous eateries. The food quality is good and the registration process is quite hassle-free.

Eligibility: you need to have a UG degree with minimum passing marks as set by the institute. Application forms are available on the website, an application fee has to be paid. The exams are CAT, XGMT, and XAT. There's a 50% reservation for the domicile of Odisha.

As I am in my 1st year so I don't have much knowledge about the placement but while talking with our senior, they told that If you did little hardwork then you will definitely get a good placement. In my senior batch there are, 180 students and from them 170 students are already placed in many reputed companies and placement activities is still going on.

I had applied to IIM's , XLRI Jamshedpur, IMT Gazhiabad. I had been selected for IMT Gazhiabad dual country program (PGDM-DCP). I had given PI for several IIM's, got selected for IIM Sambalpur and IIM Bodhgaya also but did not go there. And the colleges I could not convert are because of the questions related to my undergraduation. I had answered all the questions related to my work experience that they had asked. Overally I had performed not upto the mark, so did not get selected. Admission process in our college is through CAT, XAT and XGMT exam. Generally cut offs for this college goes around 92 percentile for non domicile and 91 percentile for domicile students. I had scored 95.80 percentile in CAT 2023. A short summary about XIMB

I opt for this college because it's one of the top five best college in east india it's reputed government registrar and trust worthy. the placement and infrastructure is also very good. I didn't apply for many colleges I just applied for St Xavier's College Ranchi I gave the written and interview and was cleared in both the exams but because of its infrastructure and no placement I didn't went there. Admission to XIMB can be secured in 3 ways: CAT, XAT, and XGMT. The exams are held from November to January time frame and the admission forms open from around October goes on till January.
