The campus is very good and it has all the facilities for the students
The infrastructure of the college is very good
The college has many trees which keeps the college cool and calm and the campus is kept very clean

Dislikes

The canteen should make some good food and there is no place to sit at times
The parking of the college is very big but it always has parking issues
The faculties are very good but the office work doesn't happen fast they take lot of time for small works

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken this course because I always wanted to learn about machines like how they function and everything about them. In our college, there is a mentor for a group of 20 students who look for all results and academic-related issues. Almost all of the faculties are Ph.D. holders or have done MTech. The term exams are not so difficult to pass but they always ask some twisted questions in the paper, especially for the problematic subjects.

Class Size: 800Course Fees: INR 89640 per year

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placement when they are in the 5th sem. There are almost 27 companies that have visited till now on the campus. The highest package that is offered is 11.5 lakh per annum. The percentage maybe 70% of students who are getting placed. My plan after the degree is to go aboard for studying a master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for govt seats is 89640 and for private or management seats it goes upto 3 lakh depending upon the course We are applicable for the state scholarship which is known as SSP, and the amount we get is a bit less compared to the fees and there are a lot of campus drives in our college which have a good salary package.

Campus Life

Many events happen in our college but the biggest event is the INVENTO it is usually in June or July first week. The library is well maintained it has all the books that are useful for studies. There are many social groups made by the students like klemediaclub and klevegatam.

Admission

I had written the cet exam which is the common entrance test and I got the govt seat with fewer fees compared to management. The improvement needed in the admission process is it takes lots of time for the exam results and after that, it takes even more time to counseling of the seats so it should be faster.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

The admission process for this college is through Comedk for the students residing outside Karnataka as well as Locals or KCET for the students residing in Karnataka and management quota. I couldn't qualify in JEE mains for any NITs so i opted for Comedk. I TOOK ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE BY MISTAKE. Comed-K is for every engineering college of Karnataka and top 6k rank holders only get CSE branch here. Yes, my first choice was Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore but since it was far from reality at this score, the only best other choice I had was KLE.
