The college building is so good, and laboratory college is pretty good.
The college is covered with trees and green sceneries everywhere.
There is big play ground in the college and we plays there.

The laboratory equipment number is not sufficient.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is demand in the market for this department. The faculties are BTECH and MTech qualified. The teaching method is theoretical and practical based. There are two Internal examinations and one external examination per semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 850 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tata Advanced Systems Limited: 15500 per month. ITC FOODS: 3.21 Per Annum. Schwing Stetter : 17,500 per month. Precision Survey Consultancy: 13,500 per month. The posts are Human Resource and Information Technology.

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, students get eligible for applying in jobs. Subros, Wipro, and Tata company come to the college. The avarage package is 17,500 and the highest package is 25,000 per month. About 50 per cent of students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institution is fully government and sponsored and the fees are pretty low. Per yearly fee is about 800+ and the per semester registration fee is 250. There is an OASIS scholarship for SC, ST and OBC and there is the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for a good number of holders.

Campus Life

There is one annual fest per year, there is Saraswati Puja and Biswakarma Puja per year. There is a library in the college with lots of books. There are sports facilities for Cricket, football etc. There is an annual sports program.

Admission

To join you give jexpo exam. For that, you have to be Madhyamik passed. The application form is to be founded on the WBSCTE website and the application fee is 500. The application session runs from August month. There are SC, ST, OBC, and PWD reservations. The quality of lab equipment should be improved.

By studying mechanical engineering, I can look forward to good job prospects.high salaries and varied work.my collage has nice equipped laboratories and good classroom.it has well maintained hostel for men. I love the environment of my collage.my collage give importance to both studies and other extracurriculum activities. My favourite teacher is professor sourav das.he can handle any type of students.my collage teacher teaching methods are awesome , teachers serve as instructor who deliver knowledge to their students.through lecture and direct instructions aim to measure the result through testing and assignments. 3 years full time diploma engineering courses that's 1 semester/ 6 month. It is too difficult to pass out of this branch. The syllabus of mechanical engineering is quite huge. One cannot comprehend the vastness of mechanical engineering.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

BPC Institute of Technology - One of the best polytechnic colleges in West Bengal

In order to get into this college, one has to fill the form of JEXPO or JEXPO VOCLET. This exam is no longer being conducted in written format, instead marks are being taken for class 10th or class 12th, based on whatever yearyou want to get into. The application form is available on the board website WBSCTVESD, where one has to fill the form enter their details and wait for allotment. If someone has a reservation such as SC, ST or a someone is a female candidate, they can pay less during the form fill up process. The college is good it's not bad

Eligibility for this course you have to clear an entrance exam jexpo for 1st-year admission and for 2-year lateral entry you have to do ITI or voclet. we can find the form on WBSCTVESD.com on this website.
