Comprehensive Review of BPC Institution of Technology: Campus Life, Placements, and Internship Opportunities

I consider the content of the program reaonable and useful because I am a mechanical engineering student. The topics of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and machine design are applicable which is the reson why I chose this course. The curriculum does quite well in getting us ready for implementation as it balances between theory and practice. But this can be further enhanced through the use of more current technology such as automation and AI, and more practical work. The assessments at the colleg are twice in a year for end semester exams having two internal assessments with a final assessment; the internal assessments are not bad but some are quite tough.

Multiple company provide internships for students via our college which includes famous name such as Subros, Ashok Leyland Cummins etc. Most of such internships are also paid and provide jobs which are relevant to students course. The projects allotted during such internships usually consist of practical exercises that help students put what they have learned into practice to improve their skills and employability.

When it coms to the placement scenario in our college, it is pretty encouraging. Students are allowed to participate in campus placements from their 5th semester. Companies like AMNS, Dana Anand Pvt Ltd., Birla, JSW Steel and many more come over to our campus. The highest package offered is around 3.5 LPA, while the average packag to be around 2.5 LPA. Around 70% of the students get recruited through their campus placement drives. Regarding my plans for the future, I will be looking forward to getting a job after completing my degree.

The course fee is applicable to all the students irrespective of the categories and the students pay a course fee every year of rs 800. This yearly payment takes care of all charges like tution fee, caution, registration, admission, development, laboratory,etc. Even the common category with regard to General, Management, SC, ST, this does not vary. Each academic session consists two semesters, This is followed by a semester examination which is charge at 250 rs. I(n the case of students with backlogs additional storage is charged 150 rs extra. The fee structure has remained unchanged for all the years, and no increment has been made different students. Also the West Bengal Govt.'s " Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-means Scholarship" is awarded 18000 rs per year for students having more than 60% in the examinations. This is awarded in order to encourage students who are really good but need some money.

While on campus life at this college tends to be fun and interesting. There are many annual and technical festivals, most notably the 'Naveen Baron', 'Biswakarma Puja' and "Basanta Utsav" etc. which take place throughout the year. Besides, there are also regular inter college sports such as football, cricket and running on an annual basis. Theree is an abundance of books and journals in our library which is very helpful in academic pursuits of students. The students enjoy high purposes and they use reasonably sized well-equippedrooms in addition, five smart classrooms. Futhermore , there are no such activities which are done by outsourcing other our college's activities, everything is done internally which is better and keeps people close.

I chose not to take a room at the hostel, however it is our college's hostel which is very good and safe as well because it is within the college premises. For the boys, the paid accommodation is in the form of 2000 rs, while the girls' accommodation is free, as only food is ordered and no accommodation needs to be catered. But the college provides all the necessary meals at reasonable prices, which is of course the only solution for students who live at the college.

This college was chosen by me because it is the one among the best, within the top 10 colleges of West Bengal and also my first preference because of its good resources and facilities and its distance from my home. The admission is only rank based and I got in through the JEXPO entrance exam that is quite popular for just the diploma engineering courses. Lateral entry students have also a common examination called VOCLET. This college appealed to me because of the teaching excellence and the supporting faculty which most of the other colleges I applied to did not have. In general the amission procedure went quite well and it was very efficient.

In our college, there are 60 students in each department and 7+ faculties thereby maintaning a good teacher- student ratio. All faculties are nice and helpful and my favorite teacher is Ritesh Mandal sir and Ujjwal Baidya sir Because of their pleasant personality and its teaching. The year is devided into two semesters, two internal exam 20 marks and one external final exam 60 marks. the left 20 consists of assignments 10marks and attendance 10 marks. For lab subjects total score is of 100 marks which includes projects, viva and lab work. The exams are fair, .difficult yet i can't say they are unjust. The oral curriculum is practical and related much to how the students will benefit themslves in the...profession. And passed students percentage very high 95%.
