Comprehensive Review of BPC Institution of Technology: Campus Life, Placements, and Internship Opportunities

Likes

Campus Life: Enjoing in about outside the classroom has been rather pleasing. The campus is intersting, and there is a big playground available for sports. Such events as " Nabeen Baron","Biswakarma Puja" take place to the rich social life.
Supportive Faculty: The teachars are very nice, and they help the students with their problems. They make sure that all the syllabus is completed and provide great guidance, which is very useful for students.

Placement Experience:

When it coms to the placement scenario in our college, it is pretty encouraging. Students are allowed to participate in campus placements from their 5th semester. Companies like AMNS, Dana Anand Pvt Ltd., Birla, JSW Steel and many more come over to our campus. The highest package offered is around 3.5 LPA, while the average packag to be around 2.5 LPA. Around 70% of the students get recruited through their campus placement drives. Regarding my plans for the future, I will be looking forward to getting a job after completing my degree.

BPC Institute of Technology - One of the best polytechnic colleges in West Bengal

Likes

The campus is extremely large and beautiful. There are playgrounds and rooms and workshops.
The library is huge and there are ample amount of books that are needed for an engineering student. One may issue books at their discretion by issuing a library card first.

Dislikes

The college is too big which makes it hard to maintain. Due to it being recently painted, their is dust and paint almost everywhere in the corridor.
Seniors aren't allowed to freely talk to us, because they may be accused of ragging the juniors.

Placement Experience:

80% students got placement from our college in Electrical department. The highest salary 20k, the lowest salary 10000 in and the average salary 15000 is offered in electrical department. But in CST department 8.5 Lacs per annum salary is offered. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, L&T etc. Almost 95% student got internship in this course. Roles are like AutoCAD etc. It based on sales and products. If someone is not going for placements, one may apply for government exams such as RRB, SSC or go for a lateral entry exam into BTech program in other government colleges.

Over all is a good college

Likes

Our college teachers are highly qualified
The teachers teach greatly and they give us all the study material

Dislikes

The ragging thing the senior are not to talk junior with us freely
Our college labs not good because not so much chemical available

I want to be an electrical engineer so for this reason I choose this course. In our classroom, there are 62 students. To join this course you have to do the entrance exam called JEXPO The teachers at this college are good

OVERALL IT IS A GOOD COLLEGE

Likes

The senior of our college is very kind and they are really helpfull
Our teachers all are highly qualified and the teach us greatly

Dislikes

Our college bathroom is bad and bathroom door is bad
For the anti ragging things the seniors are not allowed talking with as freely

Course Curriculum Overview:

My dream is a software Engineer so for this reason I choose this course. In our classroom, there are 63 students. To join this course you have to do an Entrance exam called JEXPO. The teachers at this college are very good. The exam is easy, you can clear it with one attempt.

In our branch, there are a total of 63 students, an average of approximately 40 students. The teacher of this college are highly qualified and they teach us well. The exam was not so hard at all we cleared it in one attempt.

The college is good it's not bad

Likes

The teachers are highly qualified for this they teach us greatly.
The campus is big and we can use our free time for study in library.

Dislikes

the teachers are mainly teach us in english but many of the students english is not so good

I want to be a software engineer for this I choose this course. students are coming from long distances they are interested in studying and serious about it. the teachers all are highly qualified and they teach us so well but they teach us all in english because I am from Bengali medium it's hard to understand all those things they teach us. we can't get the proper time to study in 1st semester we have to study for 6 months but in reality, we get 2 or hardly 3 months.

College provide very good placement for mechanical, Electrical and Cst students. And MNCs come to our college for placement.
College teachers and staffs are very helpful.and they has great knowledge in their field.

Dislikes

We have a 4 branch but in civil there is very less placement but academic is very good for every branch.
College is little far from main town of krishnagar but you get toto to reach the college

I choose electrical engineering because I love electrical things and it's a great course and this course has a very good future. 1:3 ratio of faculty members. The faculty members are superbly qualified in their field. And they teach you from basic to advanced. Term exams are moderate. Exam rules and questions are decided by Wbscte. If you do regular classes then I don't think that you face any problems.

The college building is so good, and laboratory college is pretty good.
The college is covered with trees and green sceneries everywhere.

Dislikes

The laboratory equipment number is not sufficient.
The practical knowledge is very less than theoretical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students get eligible for applying in jobs. Subros, Wipro, and Tata company come to the college. The avarage package is 17,500 and the highest package is 25,000 per month. About 50 per cent of students get placement.

The exam is a too technical exam. If u have technical knowledge u r most lucky.

BPCIT best ever polytechnic

Likes

BIG ground for playing. A lots of tree for shadows and a big campus for walking.
Our College have Hostels for boys and Girls.

Dislikes

Machines are old for doing practical labs
College is beside the highroad and station so a lot of noise occurs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I completed ITI so I choose a diploma to grade up my skills and knowledge. But now a days technical job is more efficient as compared to non-technical jobs. so Diploma is a good choice for me. The faculty ratio is in my department for 60 students 6 different teachers are used for different subjects. Teachers are Well Qualified some teachers are also doing Ph.D. They are very helpful and friendly to us. There is 2 semester in one year and per semester have 2 internals.
