Course Curriculum Overview
Chemical engineering is applied in almost every field and has a major role in daily life from manufacturing materials to processing industries and genuinely offers a vast range of opportunities. The ratio of faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:15. There are many faculty members with PhDs from Ivy League colleges. Some of the professors actually emphasize learning and design their courses accordingly. For instance Prof. Mohd. Ali Haider took the Heterogenous Catalysis course, a well-structured course in my opinion. The institute policy follows 2 mid sem exams and one end-semester exam. The exams are pretty good, averages stay around 45-50.
Placement Experience
The prefinal year students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like BCG, Bain, Amazon, Google, etc. People usually get internships and get pre-placement offers and most of the left people get placed in the placement season.

There are tuition fee waiver provisions for people with an annual income of fewer than 5 lakhs. We also have IITD Endowment Scholarship and other similar scholarships that provide scholarships to students on the basis merit and GPA.

There are over 10 cultural clubs in the college - music, photography, design, dance, and fine arts to name a few. I'm associated with the Design club we have events like Ui competitions, graphic designs, and design marathons. The campus has great sports facilities for the people interested additionally a new sports complex was recently inaugurated.
