Course Curriculum Overview

4

I want to become a software engineer so I opted for this course. The student ratio is 50: 50 in the college and the faculty members are good at knowledge as well as method of teaching. The required qualification for the faculty is a Ph.D. in a field. There are semester-wise exams and my course includes 8 semesters as well as sessional in between every semester for internal evaluations.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides a month gap between the semesters for the internships and training for the students. Students can opt for the college's own internship program or others outside the college. IBM, TCS comes for internships in the college. There are IoT-based programs, Software development training & several related boot camps.

Placement Experience

4.5

For the 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies including TCS, Infosys, etc visit UCER every year providing an average of 3.5 lacs package which goes highest to 23 lacs. Around 85% percent of students have been placed this year. I want a reputed company to work with.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is such: 1st year - 120000 2nd,3rd & 4th year - 112000 The college provides the facility of submitting fees in two terms with a 2-3 month gap in a year. The college provides scholarships to the ranked students in selected entrances as well the UP government's scholarship is also provided.

Campus Life

4

The college has a central library huge and vast. A number of students can sit in a quiet and Air-conditioned environment. There are a number of books available for courses as well the competitive exams. There is an annual program on campus. Every year the freshers are welcomed with a party and the final year students are given a goodbye & luck for the future. There are many social groups and NCC on campus. The campus includes gaming, gym & activity areas.

Admission

Before my 12th exams result I have given the JEE entrance exam and does not get the cutt percentile in that. After the results, as there was a situation during Corona pandemic so I went to the best institute nearby my locality. Some of my relatives were in this college before and they recommended me this one. After taking dozens of reviews & recommendations I went for this college. Firstly I filled out the application form for admission and they took an entrance afterward they discussed choosing of a stream and I opted for CS/IT.

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester, and a mix of IT, consulting and service based companies visit with multiple entry levels offers. The students also get to apply to a degree that will be available for them in a specific area placed. My plan after the degree is to focus on implementing my skills and aim for better opportunities outside campus.
