Honest Review of Kanpur Institute Of Technology

I have an area of interest in Computer, that's why I chose this course. There is a total of 140 students in my batch and for these 140 students average faculty was 5-6. Our college faculty was average, and some of them were students in the same college and then became faculty in the same college, some of them have very good knowledge and some are just below average. The term exams are always conducted on time, and all the questions are coming from your syllabus, difficulty was 8/10.

Placement in college are about 75% in last year. From the 7th semester, the students are getting placed on or off campus. Companies such as Nucleus Software, Trinity, Team Computer etc are visited in last year. Highest package was give by Tiaa of 9Lpa and average package was 4-5 LPA. I placed in Tech Mahindra by off campus because they have certain restrictions in on campus placement likr attendance, marks etc. I am not interested in higher education as for now my completely focus on Corporate job.

The fee structure was 85k-90k excluding transportation and hostel. Fees were expensive as compared to their knowledge and amenities. There was no such scholarship provided by the college, the government gives scholarships to those students whose parent's income is less than 250000, and approximately 80% of fees are paid by the government.

Life on campus is so good when you have good friends. They conduct two cultural fests yearly and 1 techno fest and some cultural events. The first fest for freshers is named Udhbav and they conduct it in the month of October 2nd one was in the month of February in which they invite some singers to our college and after that, we have dinner on the campus. Amenities in the classroom were average, only fans were there, no ac and no watercolor. Sports and curricular activities are organized once a year and mostly hostelers took part in them, games such as cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball were played. There is one tech club namely Cyber Srishti and some small cultural clubs are present.

The admission process is very simple, you can take direct admission or you can write an exam which will conduct by AKTU every year. You can find the admission form from the college there are no application fees for the form and admission always start in the month of June and July. There is no improvement needed in the admission process, it is simple and reliable for everyone.
