The curriculum is hardcore finance with a focus on finance in the first semester itself. The way the course has been structured allows students to learn finance at a depth that is very helpful and skill oriented.

Placements at jbims have always been good. It's one of the premier schools, so the opportunities here are a lot and many. Average and highest packages are also in comparative terms w.r.t the peer schools.

Fees are rupees inr 300000 per year which accounts for a total of 600000 for the whole course. Fees for all categories are the same for this course is for general obc sc st all. There is no stipend for this course.

Jbims has just one small building in the name of campus so it hasn't much to offer in terms of campus life sadly. Amenities are basic infra like table chair library that's itm some classes have an air conditioner.

Admission

All the undergrads with 60% are eligible to apply if they score beyond the cutoff then they can apply. application forms are available on the website during the admission process. Cet scores are needed for the same.

Interview Experience

Yes, the group discussion is mostly on the topics chosen from the current trends and events relevant to current affairs and all. The interview is based on the basics of finance and general interview questions.

I choose MSc Statistics because Statistics is a Mother of Data Science and AI which is growing faster in this world. I'm enjoying the statistics. The faculty and students ratio is up to the mark according to me, it is about equal in comparison to students. Teachers are well qualified in their domains and respective subject, and the teaching is also very good. In my college, the exam terms are semester wise and the difficulty level I'll rate up to 7 out of 10.

It is a very academically focused college, unlike IIMs which maintain a balance of studies and extracurricular activities which could be a small concern for some aspirants. The admission process is to pass the CET/CMAT/CAT exam by clearing the required cutoff which is 99.94,99.98 and 99.99%tile respectively.
