Teaching experience, the practicals the exams, everything is too good

There is nothing much dislikea about college .
Ome thing is the lunch break is too long, we are getting tired of that

Course Curriculum Overview

The Master in Botany gives us a different aspect of seeing to the nature n plants, the project given by the college was too good, we make natural products n grow plants. Many types of gardening, landscaping etc. we can do now, and overall there is huge scope in future also, great course

Fees and Financial Aid

Msc botany (modern college shivaji nagar Pune) 1st year SC category fees-16,045 2nd year SC category fees-17,035 Freeship or scholarships are also available. The teacher n college is so good, n all of the staff are suportive.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is from 1989 may be, and the campus is beautiful, actually it was like live at first sight. Overall the college was good, you can give entrance exam and take admission, no tension, simple process and office staff is also good, so no need to worry.

Admission

I think this is one of the most popular College among the students, and the campus is also too good. Teachers n staff are supportive. The college celebrates each n every festival, also there is a huge rally on 19th of feb (shiv jayanti). The aluminis are also in touch with the students n doing great for the students Carrer guidance, womens safety, health related issues, cyber crimes and many more things guidance they gave us.

Faculty

The botany department is having 3 teachers, and one HOD ma'am, all of them are so polite and good, Next about the exam- as the College is autonomous so the exam paper get checked by our teachers only. Semester pattern is there 2 years 4 semester and 4 unit test.

Night Life

The campus is in between the Pune city, so so much traffic is there, and there is no nightlife near the college as infront of college there is a police quarters so, there is total security and privacy for all. No gym is there, cafeterias and canteen are available, also Xerox centers, juice bar, and many more thing available outside the college gate

From which semester students become maximum students are placement.company name I don't know I no experience , highest package is 15LPA and average is 5 to 6LPA , then percentage of placements students is 50% to 60%percentage students are playes.

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Compare to other colleges at least for regular BSc this college is slightly higher reputed at present now. Other colleges like the KK wagh is engineering College while others don't have hostel facilities. The city is also more affordable but still standard compared to other education hub like Pune. Hence for regular BSc course even if anyone got delayed admission can be taken first in any other course in the college and then within the department by cancelling the first chosen course.
