Excellent College

The college syllabus is well designed according to real world and it is industry based.The college curriculum is relelant and moderately good.The faculty is highly qualified ,with balance of research and industry experience.

The fergusson college offers various internships opportunity .The college organize pre placement activites to prepare student for placement.Some companies visit for placement also and provides internships ,it includesTCS ,josh ,accenture ,Infosys, Capgemini etc.

The college is excellent in placement of computer science department.There are more than 30 company visits for campus placement.The average package it offers for computer science is 15lpa.The out 70 students of in last year class maximum 66 are placed.

In fergusson college fees for course Msc.computer science is 88146 thousand per year which i have paid.In this per year fee it include tution fees 16,296 and Student deposit is 3500 ,and exam fee is 4,300 and other fees 64,020.The other fees include the lab fees ,identity card fees etc.this is fees structure for open,obc students.Reserved category students have some reservation in their fees it may be around 44000 per year.the fergusson colleage also provide private as well as government scholarship.The government scholarship which you can apply are Rajashri Shahu Maharaj Scholarship,mahadbt scholarship,and the scholarship of national scholarship portal.The private scholarship include swadhar scholarship for economically backward classes and for sc category.There is ghokhale scholarship which is provided by fergusson college.For hostellers there is panjabrao scholarship for girls.

In fergusson college we have freshers party that is called Alhmora in the plinkX club.The lab are good they have good software installation.The pc are also working well.There is wadia library in college which is full of knowledge of books.

I have applied for two colleges one is Pune university and another is fergusson college.I choose fergusson college because it have placement and industry based syllabus as compare to pune university have research based syllabus.

The faculty members are excellent they teaches very good.Computer science faculty staff is best.I like uma mam she teaches web designing very well and her nature is also good .she is very supportive and always encourage us.
