Remarks

The campus also houses a Stationery shop that stocks and supplies essential stationery required for students ensuring that VVITians do not need to step out of the college premises for everyday stationery needs.

Entrance Preview

By counselling i getting many colleges but due to certain reviews from the seniors of this college and looking at the scholarship offered by the college i had opted for it as it helped me to do my bachelors with making me less financially weak.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Our college does provide internship. You don't need to find yourself. College also give some training to it's students for placement and internships.

Campus Life

Campus life is very awesome. Students enjoys a lots their college. I am damn sure you are also cant forget your college life if you get admission in this college. Now come to gender ration, gender ration is almost equal i am not sure. Mostly you will find more boys then girls.

Hostel Facilities

The Students hostels at VVIT provide the best of comforts to our students, ensuring that they feel at home in our hostels. The college provides separate residential facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are efficiently administered to provide the right atmosphere for student life.

Faculty are awesome. There are always get ready to clear doubts of students and make them comfortable. There are highly qualified at their specialized subject. Most of faculty completed their PHD and come to join our institute. Some times its very funny when teacher organized some task to students to teach student easily.

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .

truths about VVIT college

I didn't choose this college but the government has given me the college * I wrote my KCET and got this college in KCET which i could not resist. * Starting I thought this college would be good but coming to this colleges proves me wrong and disspoints me to be in this college * I had thought to do other course than engeneering and wanted to go jyoti nivas college , christ universites like top colleges in banglore but i got seat in KCET and got this college but the course which i got made me to choose this college, I got AI-ML course in this college, I got the course I wanted till then i was happy and exciting but after visiting the college I was dissappointed * I didn't apply for other colleges because I wanted a government seat for the course i wanted and I had no choice over other colleges beacause i already got in vvit which is government seat. * I didn't get rejections in any colleges beacause i didn't apply for any. * Admission process for my college is through KCET or JEE and management seat available My overall admission processes was very painful and now I think that i should have selected a better college than this and I still regret that i chose this college but in the end not everything is our hands....Read More
