Remarks

Extracurricular activities are there like sports meet and other debate competition to which students are facilitated as in cash prizes. Alumni meet is organised by the college where every passed out student share his/ her experience or Where they are placed now.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE mains exam through which I was shortlisted for admission at VVIT. I chose to pursue B.Tech in CE at VVIT because I was fascinated by how we can connect and change the world at a single mouse click.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provides internship. The general stipend is about 5k easily. The overall experience is good. Yes it does. College allows its student to do internship where ever they want and support them in their choice.

Placement Experience

The vision of Placement Cell is to be a centre of excellence in grooming the students to produce human resource of exceptional technical skills and leadership qualities to serve global technical needs. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programs.

Campus Life

Adequate infrastructure facilities for indoor and outdoor games have been provided with separate grounds for Cricket, Football, Volleyball and a Basketball court. There is also a gymnasium within the campus. Students are encouraged to participate in all events.

The faculty in my college is well qualified. Every teacher has proper knowledge of their subject. Even they clear my doubts very well. Teacher is Available for queries any time and they give you proper time for your problems. Some have masters, some are phd in their subjects.

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .

truths about VVIT college

I didn't choose this college but the government has given me the college * I wrote my KCET and got this college in KCET which i could not resist. * Starting I thought this college would be good but coming to this colleges proves me wrong and disspoints me to be in this college * I had thought to do other course than engeneering and wanted to go jyoti nivas college , christ universites like top colleges in banglore but i got seat in KCET and got this college but the course which i got made me to choose this college, I got AI-ML course in this college, I got the course I wanted till then i was happy and exciting but after visiting the college I was dissappointed * I didn't apply for other colleges because I wanted a government seat for the course i wanted and I had no choice over other colleges beacause i already got in vvit which is government seat. * I didn't get rejections in any colleges beacause i didn't apply for any. * Admission process for my college is through KCET or JEE and management seat available My overall admission processes was very painful and now I think that i should have selected a better college than this and I still regret that i chose this college but in the end not everything is our hands....Read More
