Course Curriculum Overview
So I am from a mechanical engineering background And I think mechanical engineering has quite a good future so I chose it. My rank was around 90k and mechanical engineering was one of the best branches according to my rank Also the alumni base of this college is about a hundred years old college. In this college, the mechanical branch has the highest average package so that was quite an obvious choice. The faculty ratio is quite good. All the faculties are IIT Ph.D. qualified and are from reputed institutes all over India. There are 2 mid-semester examinations And one end-semester examination. Talking about the teaching method Our course curriculum is not very up to date But teachers do quite a satisfying job. Some are supportive and some are strict. In this college, copy-checking is quite hard so you have to be very precise and to the point in the examination. Otherwise, you're gonna be face difficulty in passing the examinations.
Internships Opportunities
For chemical technology companies like LinkedIn geeks for geeks exon mobile Maruti, Suzuki Mahindra gives internships. Some students grabbed internships at govt organizations like DRDO. And you can better internships on basis of your CGPA.
Placement Experience
From 7 semesters students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like jio reliance cognizant Infosys samsung Maruti Suzuki Asian paints Paytm Airtel Aarti industries Adani Wilmar come to campus for placements. About 95% of eligible candidates are placed with an average package of 8 to 10 lacs. The highest package last year was about 65 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Show the feast is about 1 lakh 35000 institution fees and Hostel fees cost 60000 for 1 year 18000 per semester is the mess fees and 25000 is room rent for one year There is also the scholarship for students. Last year in my branch students got their scholarship from Rs50000 to Rs95000.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is adhyay And the sports fest is called aagaz. There is also the tech fest called technical. This year in adhyay In the dhaai Rahul Jain came and in aarambh another cultural fest,yasser desai had come. There are plenty of opportunities in the sports like cricket football basketball volleyball kabaddi, students participate with full excitement in these sports fests. Infrastructure is one area in which this college always lacks. In this case, there is a lot of room for improvement. There are plenty clubs like aero club auto rob, ASCPC ,PSMSC and also the clubs of singing and dancing.
Admission
Joint entrance examination mains. On the official website hbtu.ac.in Application fees of HBTU Kanpur is Rs1250. Counseling starts in the months of August and September and ends in to last week of November. Yes, the college provides reservations.
