IMI New Delhi is already a very reputed institution. Established more than 40 years ago, it has a huge alumni base spread across various industries. The institutes also attract a large number of companies that offers a number of roles. This is why I preferred this institute over other the calls I received. The faculties here are very qualified and boast a huge industry experience. The teachings by some of the faculty members have been quite impactful. Exams here actually are designed to test your conceptual learnings. There are regular evaluations of your learnings each term in form of quizes and assignments.

The process for summer internship placements starts in the very first term itself, with companies like RPG, Nestle, Flipkart, Barclays, and many more top firms recruiting. For further details, you can check the placement reports uploaded on the website.

The placement process begins during the first term (for summer) and the fourth-fifth term (for the final) itself. There are a large number of companies from diverse segments recruiting for a large number of roles. The highest package for this year's final placements is 50 lakhs, whereas the average stands at a little bit higher number than 17 lacs. IMI has a 100% placement record this year.

The fee here is indeed quite high compared to similar colleges of the same level. However, there are some scholarships available for eligible students, which include scholarships for the EWS category, etc.

IMI New Delhi conducts its major fest Kritva, which takes place during the month of Feb. The library at IMI New Delhi is well-stocked with books, journals, and e-resources, providing students with access to the latest academic and professional literature. The classrooms at IMI New Delhi are equipped with the latest technology including interactive whiteboards, making learning and presentations a breeze. The campus provides ample opportunities for students to engage in sports and extra-curricular activities, with facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, including a gym and a basketball court. There are various student-run clubs and committees at IMI New Delhi, providing students with opportunities to develop their leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, there is a vibrant student community with various social groups that organize events and activities throughout the year.

I appeared for CAT'21 and secured enough percentile to be eligible for the course. They also accept XAT and GMAT scores as well. After filling out the form, I was called in for an interview, post which I received an offer letter. The admission process was quite smooth and without any complications.
