Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course cause I was interested in research. I wanted to pursue BSc in physics but I didn't get it so I opted for a similar course. The faculty-student ratio is good. The faculty is well qualified. Term exams were on time they were moderate in difficulty level.

Placement Experience

College does not have good placement opportunities. The highest package is 18 lpa and the average package is 4.5 lpa. From the 5th semester students are eligible for placements. The placement percentage is not good. Students after completing their graduation opt for off-campus placements or for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has minimal fees. Just 33000 for academics, 3000 per month for mess and hostel charges are 2400 per semester. For home-state sc, st and obc students, there is an assured scholarship. MP Post matric Scholarship and Medhavi Scholarship are provided to students.

Campus Life

Rgpv Bhopal has one of the best campus life. There are minimal restrictions. Students and seniors are very friendly, no ragging in the college. Many clubs are present in the college like E-Cell, GDSC, etc. Our college has a well-stocked library with every thing available, free wifi is available in the library. Classrooms have projectors installed. Sports facilities are available for everyone. The college has a sports complex.

Admission

To get admission to UIT RGPV you have to take Jee mains exam and then participate in MPDTE counselling. Rgpv is a government college and admission is completely entrance based. It is a state university so, students from their home state get additional benefits and a little flexibility in marks.

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

UIY RGPV - A take or leave situation

Admission process follows standard procedure of giving JEE after 12th class and clearing JEE mains. Each department has its cutoff which usually ranges from 100 to 180 narks in jee.
