All about Radiography Course

See, A student opts for Biology in intermediate class to become a doctor, but unfortunately, dreams get shattered due to various reasons. So, this is the course where you can get all exposures in the radiology department be its CT scans, MRIs or even simple Xrays scan you are being posted from the very first day of ist year itself in these scans room. So, I choose this course due to exposure and also because I always wanted to work with patients. See all facilities are very qualified as we are being taught by an Associate professor and an Additional professor. The best part of these faculties is that all of them are highly qualified doctors. Their teaching method is excellent. Talking about exams, Aiims Delhi doesn't have semester-wise systems exams but they took exams on a year-end basis, but there are continuous evaluation systems as they took assessments four times a year and then the final exam. The difficulty of exam is on students only, it varies from students to student for me

See my institution itself provide internship opportunities for students to work independently on various modalities such as CT's, MRIs, X-RAY etc. Stipend we will get during the internship is 18k. Various companies such as Toshiba, Siemens, GE Healthcare, Samsung Philips eyc various companies come for providing short term internships after the completion of the course

The placement cell is there which is very unique. Deserving students get placed in aiims only depending on the vacancy. Students in the final year who are on the verge of completing of internship can be eligible for placement. Various companies such as Damsung, Toshiba, Siemens, GE healthcare etc come for selection. The highest package from our course went to 12lakh at starting. I plan to move to the UK for betterment as many seniors of mine are well-settled in the UK.

See Being a Centrally funded institute there is a very nominal fee for all the paramedical courses in Aiims Delhi, which is just 425 rupees per year. There is no fee hike policy and merely any cost of studies. There is an enormous scholarship available for students. This course is for 4 years ( 3+ 1 year compulsory internship) we are getting a stipend of 500 per month from the institute. At the time of the internship, we will get about 18000 rupees per month.

Life in Aiims Delhi is very chill besides getting a competitive environment from our peers we get time to enjoy a lot in various activities. Asia's biggest fest of Medical College Fest is Organised by AIIMS DELHI Named PULSE in the month of September. This year too various Stars came to enlighten that show ( including Arman malik, Anal malik, Honey Singh, Sanam Band, Sunburn etc ). Besides this various activities are organised by cultural societies & various societies. A very famous Library BB DIXIT library is there in which you can find all the types of books and journals very easily. The class takes place in a lecture theatre in aiims. There is a very big Quadrangle in aiims in which various sports activities take place.

Eligibility for students who want to pursue this course is higher secondary class passed that is 12th class with subjects physics, chemistry, Biology/Mathematics & English is compulsory with minimum 50% marks. Commonly this exam is conducted by Aiims Delhi for all aiims with the name of Aiims paramedical entrance exam. You can visit aiims official website & through the notification section you can choose. Generally, Aiims release this form in the month of March-April and the exam is conducted in the month of June. Application fees for this exam are 1500 for general-category candidates. While reserved categories have their own benefits in fees and also in the reservation of seats. I didn't avail of any reservation as such. Aiims conduct this exam very efficiently so, there is no need for any improvement.
