I opted to pursue B, Tech to get my foundations strong in fundamental subjects like Physics and Mathematics, Advancement to a higher degree In MAHARAJA SURAJMAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY faculty: student ratio is 1:55 The faculties are highly qualified and some of them are active in research work, they take the doubts very seriously overall the teachers are friendly In one semester one mid-semester exam is conducted and at the end of the semester end semester exams are held along with regular class tests and vivas, one can easily pass the exams by reading notes provided by the faculty.

Students from the 5th semester are allowed to participate in the on-campus placement drive( for internships ) Tech giants like Google, Amazon, Adobe and Microsoft visited the campus for on-campus placements last year students bagged around 1310 offers from these tech giants and other companies. The highest package was offered by GOOGLE (1.7Cr) for the front-end developer role, and 1.2 Cr was offered by Amazon for the SDE role. Around 70% of the students got placed on campus and the rest of them were actively participating in off-campus placement programs. I am planning to join a Tech Giant after getting the degree

Fees remain the same throughout the session and the return on investment in this college is quite good as the average package offered on campus is around 9LPA Scholarships like merit cum mean scholarships, and EWS scholarships are available.

Overall college life is average here as the college is more into academics so students have to focus more on studies rather than extra curricular activities although cultural and tech fests (Avensis and Enva) are held annually. A wide range of course books and competitive exams study material is available in the library, and journals are also there for students interested in research work. The classrooms are quite spacious and ventilated. As such not many sports facilities are there on the campus but there is a sports complex associated with the college where the students are engaged in various sports activities. Many technical and cultural students clubs are present in the college like the Google developers club, IEEE,prakriti which organize various events regularly,

To be eligible for B.tech in GGSIPU the candidate must have passed class 12 from a recognized board and must have appeared in JEE MAINS exam. For other courses like BBA, BCA students must appear for the CUET examination. Application forms are available at the official website of the university (ipu.ac.in) and the registration form cost around Rs 1000. reservations are available for SC.ST PwD and other categories.
