Course Curriculum Overview

Biotechnology course is a new generation course which have a great emergance in health field. In our class we have 48 students,and we have two permanent staffs for our department and 5 guest staffs. The teachers are holding JRF,NET and PhDs. Due to the covid pandemic,the exams are in a hurry and rush conducted by Kerala University. But teaches helps a lot to manage our marks.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Summer internship fellowship programs conducted by IITs The stipend is around the range of 25,000. Career guidance and placement cell club offers the placement for TCS,WIPRO, Infosys etc. The projects done in our college are perfectly undertaken

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is a aided college which provide both govt and management seats which the fees are varies from each student. The students are affordable to hold the management fees too. I have got the post matric scholarship for OBC students so my fees are completely free. Many students got the summer intership fellowship programs conducted by IITs.

Campus Life

There are many clubs are actively working in the College which include career guidance and placement cell, health and fitness club, debate club Etc. Intercollege tournament in various sports are conducted in our college. Classrooms are well furnished and clean. Libraries are high tech and an e- library is also provided by the college

Admission

No one college in kollam district. I had opt for a double degree program called bsc botany and biotechnology. Here we need a previous study background (higher secondary) in science streams which include biology as our main subject. The admission process is by registering the portal of official site of Kerala university in the following years. The application fees varies in every years. Reservation can be allowed for category OBC

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.

Review on my beloved college

When I decided to Apply for masters I had applied in 3 Colleges- Sree Narayana College kollam, Fatima Mata National College and BJM Chavara. And I found out that best campus best facilities and good teachers are there in SBC kollam. So that I prefer SNC kollam. I got admission in BJM but I didn't like the rules and campus but I didnt get admission in Fatima Mata National College.
