Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course i.e. BCom honors not because it acts as a base for one pursuing CA. But it acts as a medium to explore endure and experience different attributes of real life focusing more on the practicality of life. Since India's education is more degree oriented than being skill orientation. My main motive behind pursuing this course was personal development. Skill approach with consistency and key learning of management. BCOM HONOURS is a course that covers all the aspects of commerce as well as management. It's a good choice to opt for the one who really wants to know what corporate life and the real world are all about. The student ratio here in my college is 10:9 Faculty members are supportive but you need to be self-reliant when it comes to going to a college. Faculty members are friendly when it comes to education. In my college, timely exams are conducted twice a year. For two semesters followed by internal assignments projects GD And internal tests being conducted by the concerned.

Internships Opportunities

4

Qunatel Design stipend offered at 12k pm 3dot14 stipend offered at 18k pm Auro studio stipend offered 6k pm The projects mentioned above had a training period involved for three months and then main work started and payment was made.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are eligible for campus placement In the 5th semester i.e. in their third year. But internship opportunities are available for students right from 1st sem. The percentage of students getting placed was 70/100 I am in 2nd year and after getting placed I would like to evolve and explore myself incorporates and further would be pursuing Mba.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the whole course completion is 33000. (May get changed by the University) Scholarship facilities ate available for students. The internship which I have got recently is with Quantel designing and its incentive is worth rupees 3000 per month which makes it 36000 a year that is more than what you will be investing in the whole course. So profit it at the upper hand.

Campus Life

3.5

Different societies conduct fest annually. Enthusia was the fest conducted with Manhar Seth being on board followed by various self-made artists like Badel Sharma, Ishan Kishan and many more. Various departmental and societal fests are being conducted on a frequent basis providing big ground for students to dance groove vibe and showcase their talents. Palaash is an eco club run by students concerned with providing an eco-friendly environment Ananda the happiness Club has been awarded and also is the most active society run by students providing happiness to every age group, and conducting sessions on anxiety depression, and stress with known psychologists. Cdf is a group chain society of various colleges associated with achieving one dream through consistency hard work and determination

Admission

Eligibility of this course is merit cum entrance based One can find the application form on the official University of Delhi website One can opt for reservation benefits if applicable on basis of their respective caste and also extracurricular activities according to the criteria given in the brochure of the admission process As far as upgradation in the process is concerned more focus should be made on information awareness to the students and the right time. After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
