SMS - The best non-IIM management college in Kerala

This is a very affordable course that I can do on my own. The college is in my home state. We have a very strong teaching group with many qualified professionals. They get help from our research students as well. Faculty:Student ratio is 1:8. All faculties are experienced doctors. Most of the faculty have Industrial Experience as well. We follow Outcome Based Education which is a syllabus based on practical concerns. Exams are conducted in a timely manner and it was not that difficult to pass

Pre-placement cell helps you find an internship opportunity. Yet like in most management colleges, you are on your own when you search for a summer internship opportunity. Most of the internships arranged by college are in banks

Students can appear for the placements from third semester onwards and those continue till end of 4th semester. More than 70% of students get placed every year. Average package is 9 LPA and highest package offered till date is 30 LPA. I am on Sabbatical from TCS and I plan to go back unless I get a better offer

Semester fee is 36000 and Yearly fee is 72000 You can also avail various scholarships like E-Grantz,Post-matric scholarships. We were also given the opportunity to apply for Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Scholarship.The selected students will receive up to 100% of tuition fees and other fees paid as per the college fee structure (subject to a maximum of INR 1 lakh per year).

Hostel has good facilities with a nominal fee of just 320 rupees per month. Hostel is allocated based on priority. Priority is based on your home town's distance from School of Management Studies. Quality meal is provided at an affordable rate. College will guide you in registration process

Graduation from a recognised university with 50% or more marks A valid score in CAT,CMAT or KMAT Close to 1000 students will be shortlisted for GD and Interview and close to 150 students will be selected(30 Part time) in the end. We had to face a Group Discussion as well as a Personal Interview. GD was conducted among group of 15 students based on contemporary issues at the time such as Russia-Ukraine War, Impact of corona on India's Financial Market. Interview was pretty much personal evaluating our desire to join the course
