Remarks :

My sister is an alumnus of this institute, she completed her MBA from here and suggested me to do the same as she had a wonderful experience here and was also able to develop a great relationship with her faculty members. My mother also wanted the same, so considering that they both are very wise, I decided to act on their suggestion. I applied here by paying INR 300 for the online application form.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was a fully residential program, oriented completely towards effective corporate placement. The program prepared me to apply knowledge of management theories and practices to assess business environment and solve business problems, develop value based leadership, work in teams to achieve organizational goals, foster analytical and critical thinking abilities for data based decision making, think creatively, and be open to diverse views and act in ways that benefit the society. The teachers here used different and innovative teaching method to help us get better and better.

Placement Experience :

My institute prepared us students to use critical and innovative thinking, rigorous research, cutting-edge technology, a problem-solving approach and sustained hard work to achieve targets that helped us in preparing for the interview rounds with the recruiters. Asian Paints,Axis Bank Limited, Bajaj Finserv, Bal Pharma Limited, Casino Group of Hotels and Resorts, Coco-Cola India, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Envestnet Inc. were some of the recruiters that visited our campus and they offered salary packages as high as INR 8.5 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The tuition fees at SIM Kottayam was one of the decent ones among all the business schools across India. The annual tuition fee for the MBA program was INR 2.27 lakhs per year. The tuition fee covered the academic fee of the program along with activity charges, facility changes, and additional material costs.

Campus Life :

My college life here was very exciting and I used to attend events with my classmates as they were regularly organized by my university. Talking about the infrastructure, it was great with modern technologies in classrooms and labs. Also, the sports complex, clubs, and committees were there for our enjoyment and personal development.

Admission :

It was a part of the admission process and consisted of an interview round and a written test conducted by the exam authority. Those who secured minimum qualifying marks were called for this round and that included me, so I had to appear for the interview, and according to this they further selected us for the admission process.
