Remarks

Since the day I have joined college, I have seen tremendous change in my personality. My seniors have been really helpful in guiding me throughout. Overall, it was a great time being a part of such a reputed college.

Entrance Preview

I have given JEE Main, BITSAT, GGSIPU and scored - 149/360, rank - 8238. I opted for DTU because of Reputation, Brand name and Placements. The counselling is conducted by JAC-Delhi. The whole admission process was online, from filling the choices to final allocation of the seat. After you have been allotted a seat, you have to take your documents to the respective college/university for final verification.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course for Information technology updated recently. Overall the curriculum for the course is good and it resembles the course for Computer engineering. According to me the course for the 1st year where we taught subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering should be altered and should include topics of the domain we have chosen to study.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities available for the students of the computer related branches is exceptionally good. Companies like Microsoft, D.E. Shaw, Samsung, Amazon, Deloitte, etc. come to our college and offer great stipends.

Placement Experience

4.5

The companies hires students for package varying from 3 lac to 1.5 crore depending on the calibre of the student. Students from the computer related branches have an added advantage. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Zomato, Mckinsey, Paytm, etc. visits the campus fro recruitment.

College Events

4.5

The best part of the college life is the cultural fest organised every year. It is called the ENGIFEST and it is organised in the month of February. Last year big name like Sunidhi Chauhan, Nucleya, Lageri and Shtuby came for the fest. Apart from the cultural fest, e also have Literary fest called Yuvaan, a sports fest called Aahvaan and A Techfest that attracts a lot of people from other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition Fee is Rs. 1.38 lac per annum but it increases every year. Yes, it is affordable as compared to other private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship facilities to the underprivileged and to the meritorious students.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure is really good and I love the Cultural fest and the peers too in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't have much of an idea about the hostel as I am a day scholar. But I have heard from my peers that overall the hostel facility and the mess food is average.

Exam Structure

There is a mid semester ans an end semester exam that that takes place in each semester. The results are announced after one month. The level of exams is average. The questions in the paper try to cover all the concepts taught in the class.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is average.

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree

College management needs to work upon just the placement cell and needs to invent new methods to keep uninterested students glued and up for studies.
