Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is hard as during Covid and late admission in 1 year 3 semesters were over and there is a chain of exams, practicals, assignments, and viva. Though Fests are conducted from time to time for relaxation. Faculty I would say are not up to the mark, you have to study on your faculties now just present a ppt and read from it, though few teachers taught well. Qualifications of most faculties are Ph.D. or MTech. You can pass an exam if you study there is a change in the pattern of exams and the papers are now tougher than in the past years. So you need to be consistent and cover the syllabus as it is done in the class.

Internships Opportunities

3

A stipend opportunity is available in the college, you grab an internship in any year. The stipend is good for a few companies and can give 1lakh+ a month. There is a portal, an app from where you can apply for internships and see a list of companies coming. You should have a strong project and your hand on the subject should be good as there is great competition among the students.

Placement Experience

3.5

Many companies are for on-campus placement and the packages are also good if you are from the Tech branch and descent for non-tech and core branch people. You will be eligible for campus placements in 3rd year. All MNCs visit our campus and over great packages of up to 50 LPA for the core as well Texas Instruments and many other companies come with 20+lpa. 90%+ students are placed in each batch. I will go for placement and try to be placed with a decent package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are a bit high as 219,000 is for 1 year and the fees keep increasing each year. Though you can avail of Scholarships here given by the Delhi Govt (MCM) colleges also give you scholarships based on annual income. And if you are from reservation (obc, sc, st) there is post metric scholarship as well. It does not include EWS and general. The scholarship is given based on the tuition fee of the college for me it is 140,000 if availed 100% scholarship.

Campus Life

3

The is a series of fest that might occur and it is north India's best fest at DTU. There are many societies and clubs you can join. Fest can be in February, after the exam, or before and in between the semester. The library is well established and many books are available here. Classrooms are ok there are SPS and Pragya Bhavan for freshers which are good, later on, it changes to departmental classrooms from 2nd year. The sports complex is big and there is a gym as well and many types of sports are available which you can play. For extracurricular activities, you can join societies and clubs. There are separate groups for every club and social media handles are run by you, students, only. You can easily find those by writing the (name of the society+ dtu).

Admission

We have to Gove an entrance exam JEE to be eligible for admission and based on the rank in the exam you can apply for the branches in the college. You can find the application form on the NTA website, the application fee and date will be given on the portal. To get a seat as a general student you have to score a rank of less than 60,000 for biotech and if you aim for COE you have to get under 10,000. The admission process should be online as it will be convenient for the parents and the students in spot/end rounds.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
